When the riverboat M.E. Norman capsized on May 8, 1925, Tom Lee was the first on the scene, saving the lives of 32 people in his small motorboat, becoming a national hero in the process. Lee's humanity and reality is the subject of this short film, accompanied by a conversation with present-day family members who have tended his legacy.
