We pitch it as the world's smallest record store and I haven't really found anybody who can prove otherwise.
It's just shy of eight feet by ten feet.
It's not quite ten feet long.
It's nine feet and ten inches.
We're open four days a month.
It's kind of a hobby business for my daughter and I.
When we opened, we only had two bins of records Eight, nine, ten, 11, 12, 13.
So that's a pretty big expansion on a percentage wise, because each one holds about 85 records.
So we started with maybe 160 170 records and now there's 1500 in here.
Records don't take a lot of room.
People that have records to get rid of are always calling us up.
“Hey, we've got some records.
You want them?
” So over the years, we just keep accumulating more.
And they're old albums, so, when you're shopping theyre new arrivals in the store.
We don't sell any actual new records, so you can't get the new Taylor Swift release here.
They are.
They're looking for used records.
A lot of people are looking for common things like Bruce Springsteen or Foreigner.
A lot of people are looking for more obscure things.
So it's fun to just come in and run the store for a couple of days a month and talk to all the people that come in.
