Gabriel Duran’s smooth R&B/Pop music is inspired by the culture and people of Southwest Detroit. Duran’s love for his community pushed him and other local artists to create the first SWFest in August of 2021. The festival put on 32 performances over three stages highlighting local Detroit artists. Will Glover caught up with Duran to discuss his music and the festival. Episode 527/Segment 2
