On day 3 of the Special Session, both of the mandated House and Senate maps are passed.
On day 3 of the 2023 Legislative Special Session, both chambers passed new court mandated Senate and House district maps. The Senate passed SB1EX, 32 to 23, with one Republican voting against the bill. The House passed their version, HB1EX, 101 to 77. Both versions were penned by Republicans. The new proposed US congressional maps will be considered next week at the Capitol.
