The Finger Lakes Land Trust acquires land in the Finger Lakes region in an effort to preserve the beauty and resources of, and public access to, these properties. Overseeing some 28,000 acres throughout the Finger Lakes region, the trust recently acquired nearly 500 acres along Cayuga Lake, land once destined for a nuclear power plant.
