Tell us about the genesis of the group.

So the group started, we knew each other from high school, me and Jayson.

And we started the band after basically after The Killers brou stage at Riptide a couple of yea And I saw him, because, you know, we were friends, but we didn't play music together yet.

And I saw him playing and I had some songs that I'd wr and I just realized that we needed to be in a band together.

So it started late 2019, early 20, and two years later.

You played on stage with The Killers?

Yeah.

Okay, we need the story for that.

So they were announced to play the festival in August of that year.

And I'm like, okay, they bring people on stage.

I'm going to bring a sign.

I tried this kind of thing before with other bands: never worked.

And then days leading up and practicing to it, and the moment comes, playing the song, two guys in the crowd.

He goes, “You.

Are you from here?

” I'm like screaming, “Yes, yes!

” And he decides between me and the other guy.

And he goes, “I like your face come up here.

” Led to about the greatest 9 minutes of probably my entire li And then afterwards someone interviews me, thinking, okay, some local magazine, no biggie.

Come to find out, he worked for Rolling Stone.

So that put that from like the south Florida level to like regional, like NME covered that, which is like a European press magazine.

It was crazy.

Greatest moment of my entire life.

Until tonight.

So you guys got touring plans, recording plans, what do you guys got planned?

We're recording on Sunday and Monday.

Yeah, Sunday and Monday in South Florida, in Miami.

So yeah, we're recording.

Touring, not so much as of right now, but.

You guys have played around the state a lot, though.

Yeah, yeah.

We play here sometimes.

We play mostly in South Florida because, you know, thats where Jayson lives.

It's where were based out of pretty much.
