Jazz in the Key of Ellison is a star-studded celebration of the great American writer.
Wynton Marsalis heads up an all-star cast in a tribute to the famed writer Ralph Ellison. The NJ Performing Arts Center in Newark celebrated the great American writer with an evening of jazz music inspired by Ellison's own record collection and spoken word from Ellison's writings. Don Katz, Joe Morton, Catherine Russell, the Andy Farber Orchestra and others who knew Ellison join Marsalis on stage.
