The Courier Journal was the first to report today's developments.
According to that paper, the Commission is prepared to acknowledge that probable cause may exist to show Grossberg may have violated state law on two occasions.
If Grossberg agreed to the commission's findings, he would be fined $4,000 and would give up his right to sue the commission and anyone involved with investigating complaints against him.
But the Democratic lawmaker told The Courier Journal he won't sign off on the deal if he doesn't, the paper reports his case would come before the commission on June 17th.
Grossberg has been under investigation by the Legislative Research Commission for nearly a year, following allegations of sexual harassment and inappropriate behavior.
