‘People don’t answer the phone anymore. Response rates have plummeted’
Since the last election cycle, some pollsters have taken a hard look at how they did their polling and whether it was serving the public. Stockton University Poll director John Froonjian says polling has gotten harder. “People don’t answer the phone anymore. Response rates have plummeted. It's getting harder and taking longer. And, frankly, getting more expensive to do polling,” Froonjian said.
