As the veteran services assistant at Johnson County Community College, Donny Whitton helps fellow veterans navigate both academic and personal barriers to success. He attributes the impact that JCCC Veteran and Military Student Resource Center makes to being part of PAVE (Peer Advisers for Veteran Education), a nationally recognized peer mentor program for veterans.
