In a lifetime that spanned from the roaring 20s right up to the current recession, economist and CNBC commentator Bill Seidman not only lived through the American Century, he helped shape it. In the late 1980s he was Chairman of the FDIC, and played a key role in resolving a major bank & savings and loan crisis.
