The first day of school is also a busy one for the superintendent and a chance to highlight new schools, new programs and partnerships.

Superintendent Dr. Jara has started his day at the bus yard, greeting school bus drivers and then stopped at schools all over the district.

I'm so excited to see about all the great things you're going to do, whatever path that your path.

Northeast Career Technical Academy, first career tech in North Las Vegas and our mission here is we're going to shorten the timeline from freshman orientation to revenue generation.

we're having a red carpet event where we're welcoming all of our soldiers and their families to the blast arsenal, something that on high energy welcome.

We're excited for even millions We are in the fabulous new building at Fremont Academy.

These kids have been waiting for this for the last two years.

And the look on their faces has been amazing.

You know, it feels amazing to have a real space for us to gather and really launch this medical magnet program.

For us, it's the important of providing that same level of education, that same level of technology, the newest, the greatest, the best we can provide for everybody.

And this neighborhood, this school in particular, has just been so deserving.

I think that they're just kind of looking around and all because being on a swing site with portables for two years, we never let that become a reason why our kids didn't get the same experience as all the other kids in the district.

This bus is going to distribute all these 50,000 books over the course of the school year.

And we're going to go to neighborhoods all over Clark County.

This makes it so everybody gets to share in the love, gets to share in the books.

what we're doing is we're growing the future of our community.
