Tearing homes down to build communities back up in Camden

Clip: 7/6/2021 | 56sVideo has Closed Captions

“Camden Strong" initiative will tear down 300 blighted homes in the city

The plan calls for cleaning up illegal dumping and encouraging more residents to get involved in keeping their neighborhoods clean. The mayor says getting rid of the abandoned homes will also help with crime as they often serve as stash houses for drugs and firearms, or easily conceal violent crimes like robbery or sexual assault.
