A study in New York examines expanding the Earned Income Tax Credit to childless workers.

A group of low-income workers in New York City are getting a larger tax refund this year as part of an experiment to see what would happen if lawmakers expanded the Earned Income Tax Credit, a program with bipartisan support. Special Correspondent Karla Murthy reports. This is part of an ongoing series of reports called 'Chasing the Dream,' which reports on poverty and opportunity in America.
