State lawmakers faced a state budget shortfall two years ago along with legislative and congressional redistricting and divisive matters ranging from immigration to abortion to eminent domain. Some issues were taken care of but many were not. A new session begins in January. We are devoting our entire program to these issues and will be joined by the Speaker of the Texas House of Representatives.
