This week saw the entrance of a new kind of candidate in the nonpartisan San Antonio mayor’s race. Only one mayor since the 1950s has been elected without City Council experience. And Manuel Medina’s only elected office has been as a very energetic chairman of the Bexar County Democratic Party. Still he is being taken seriously. He joins us.
