Texas Democrats believe they have a chance to begin turning Texas blue.

Ten years ago Colorado was in a similar political situation as Texas with the GOP in charge. But the election cycles of 2006 and 2008 started a blue tide that was not caused by a nationwide political shift but by four wealthy individuals. Democrats in Texas say the same thing can happen here. Is that true or just posturing after an emotional abortion debate.
