The Obamacare insurance exchanges are set to open next Tuesday and a number of San Antonio health organizations are using federal grants to train staffers to help uninsured citizens to figure out what plans are best for them and to sign up. But last week the governor instructed the State Insurance Commissioner to require 40 more hours of training and put in place other requirements.
