(upbeat music) So this is actually a food truck underneath all of this building that my husband and my mom, my dad, have done over the years.
So it's just kind of expanded into what we have today.
If you come here for breakfast, you expect a Trash bowl in front of you.
And if you come here for lunch, you want to try our Southwest Chicken Wrap or our Burgers.
The Trash bowl is a little bit of my hometown in Upstate New York.
There's this restaurant called Nick Tahou Hots and they have a garbage plate.
And my trash bowl is Grit, cheese, home fries, gravy, your choice of meat, two eggs on top, a little bit of cheese gravy and a grilled biscuit on the side.
So, I brought a little bit of home to South Carolina.
I'm from the farming community in Upstate New York so I have to bring that with me.
I'm all about the fresh milk, the eggs, the potatoes, everything that's in the garden.
So next door, we have a wonderful market.
We started off very little and we've added over time.
My parents come from Upstate New York and bring so much stuff like pumpkins and unique things that you just don't get here.
We carry local milk and cheese.
I think it's great that when our customers are waiting on food, they have somewhere to shop and that they're coming back in the evening time to get the rest of their groceries.
We have everything you could need from salmon to hamburger, to local milk cheeses.
So, and again, buy local, eat local, love local, anything local.
(soft music) If South Carolina was one dish, it would be our Southwest Chicken Wrap.
We make this dish called Carolina Caviar and it's black beans, Black-eyed peas, assorted colored peppers, of course, garlic, that's a Northern thing, I have to bring my heritage into it, some spicy tomatoes and we grill it up and we stick it with Springer Mountain Farm organic chicken, which is local down the road.
And we put it in a wrap with some sour cream, Swiss cheese.
It's delicious.
It's delicious.
And it's messy and ooey and gooey and everything you want in a sandwich.
(soft music) I think the community with the Barnwood Grill is awesome.
Our goal is feeding the world one plate at a time.
