I would say I grew up with a very musical family.
My father taught me guitar when I was a kid and me and my brothers, you know, I grew up singing choir in church and we had a family band called... (chuckles) - Go ahead.
- Infinity.
(band mate chuckles) I know, very spooky.
It was very family oriented, I think at first for me.
And it just started when I was really young and just I clung on and I never let go.
I think it's the same thing with this guy.
- Yeah, my dad was, I grew up, I think my mother's water broke while at one of my dad's gigs.
I'm pretty sure.
So the story is told, but when my dad was playing gigs, my mom would be at home cleaning the house with the music cranked.
So anything from Merle Haggard to Lionel Richie, to Creedence Clearwater, to Leonard Skinner, to all that kind of stuff.
Just a house of music and love and awesomeness.
How about you Chico?
- Let's see, my love of music actually came from a talent show to actually be more of a love for drums, because I saw drummer play at a talent show once, and I was like, that's what I want to do.
Cause I didn't come from a musical family like these guys did.
- Being on stage and performing feels kind of like, for me it feels like nothing.
I don't know how to describe it, but like... - Home.
- It's very comfortable.
The moments before I get onstage, they can be very terrifying, but right when you get on stage, everything's like totally fine.
Nothing else matters in the world.
Those moments are just very blissful.
- How do I feel when I play music on stage?
Anxious before, sometimes good, sometimes bad, depends how the soundcheck goes.
But as soon as we hit the downbeat, it just changes because I'm with my brothers and I love it so much.
- This area that we're on, it's just us three.
It's just ours.
And all the stuff that happens before the show or after the show, whether you're worried about, you know, anything in life, it just goes away for that short amount of time that you're getting to play.
Nothing else matters.
- Yeah.
I think music plays such an important role in all of our lives, that like when we play live, we want people to walk away feeling.
I want them to feel inspired.
'Cause that's how I started playing music too, was I saw one of my favorite bands play live.
And I was like, I want to do that.
And hopefully we can do that to some kid or an adult, and inspire them to play music and create music.
- When they go home, they should think we forgot about all of our bills and all of our problems for that hour and a half or however long the show would be where nothing else mattered.
And they were just so connected.
That's that's the whole point of it I think.
(upbeat guitar music) Will anybody take her out She's already up, she's ready now No one ever showed her how She doesn't care just take her now Hey now, you know you never listen Sunshine, you know you're always missing out You're so proud Well everybody wants you now Hey now, you know you never listen Sunshine, you know you're always missing out You're so proud Well everybody wants you now More bodies than she can keep count And all the pretty girls on the rebound To be a shining light out in the crowd She doesn't care what she's taking now Oh no Hey now, you know you never listen Sunshine, you know you're always missing out You're so proud And everybody wants you now Hey now, you know you never listen Sunshine, you know you're always missing out You're so proud Well everybody wants you now She gets loose and she gets high She gets out like it's the first time She's so proud Well everybody wants her Up all night and sleeps all day Knock on the door The sunshine's gone away She's so proud Well everybody wants ya now Hey now, you know you never listen Sunshine, you know you're always missing out You're so proud Well everybody wants you now Hey now, you know you never listen Sunshine, you know you're always missing out You're so proud Well everybody wants you now Hey now, you know you never listen Sunshine, you know you're always missing out You're so proud Well everybody wants you now Hey now, you know you never listen Sunshine, you know you're always missing out You're so proud And everybody wants you now She's so proud Well everybody wants you now (song ends)
