When Hana fails a test at school and gets admonished by her teacher, she feels she has been treated unfairly. “I wish there were no more teachers,” she exclaims. The next day, she gets what she wished for and finds that a world without teachers isn’t so great after all.

I wish there were no more teachers.
("teachers" echoing) (school bell ringing) (students laughing, talking) - Where'd all the teachers go?
♪ (locker squeaks, closes) GIRL: Where'd all the teachers go?
- I don't know, but I heard there's ice cream in the teachers' lounge, so... (cash register dinging) Must have been all that sugar.
I'll go find a teacher.
♪ I couldn't find any teacher-- whoa!
My leg!
(gasps) Ow.
I'm gonna check the news to see if they know what's going on.
- Good idea.
REPORTER (in phone video): Breaking news: Teachers are disappearing from schools all over the world.
Parents are worried students are causing chaos at schools everywhere.
Where they have gone remains a mystery.
(news theme playing) Oh, no.
This is worse than I thought.
♪ Where did the teachers go?
Were they taken by something or someone?
What if the teachers never come back?
Wherever they went, I hope they come back soon.
