The evacuation operation in Kabul is accelerating, with more than 10,000 people airlifted out of Afghanistan in the past 24 hours. But thousands more remain to be rescued, and just over a week remains before the August 31st deadline set by President Biden. The Taliban said Monday they would not allow an extension.
