- [Josh] So half of us, it's school.

So we went to university.

It's kind of a mix of friends, playing in different jazz groups and all that kind of thing.

And then me and Matt met up, started the band up, and then Malik and Cole joined in later on.

He was actually the drummer at the beginning.

It was a whole mix up.

I was playing guitar.

Eventually we caught, we kind of threw Jason in the band last second for a big tour we went on.

And then Jake too, we called them both and we were like, "You guys are coming tomorrow if you wanna come.” And then they were amazing.

- [Cole] Three years later, here we are - [Josh] Exactly.

We spend so much time together, and it takes time to build up those experiences and even more time to actually learn from them and figure out what just happened.

But making sure that you don't hold back with the music is I think key to making it mean anything to you, which is the only way it's gonna mean anything to the audience.
