Hello, and welcome to The Life Of A Musician.
Tonight's episode is recorded live from the Barn at Clearview.
Let's step inside and listen.
-Hello, and welcome to The Life Of A Musician House Concert edition.
The house concert has been a main staple in a lot of acoustic artists' careers.
A great place to do linking dates and just put a little extra money in your pocket on the way to a different gig.
And it's basically the most intimate setting you can get with some of the most amazing musicians you're gonna ever see.
Today, we have with us Ms. Jenee Fleenor and Mr. Josh Martin from the Wood Box Heroes , and parts unknown.
And we hope you guys enjoy it.
And I'm just going to let them take it out.
-We're so excited to be here with y'all.
We have a new project.
-We do.
-You wanna tell them about it?
[chuckles] -Well, yeah.
-Yeah.
-Well, it's featuring myself and Jenee.
It's a little band with a few of the world's greatest musicians, in Barry Bales and Seth Taylor and Matt Menefee, Jenee, and myself.
It's called the Wood Box Heroes .
And we got a couple songs out, and this next song that we're doing is actually the first single we released.
And it's a song that I wrote and got these guys to play on it a while back, and we decided to put it to a record.
And it's called "Made Up My Mind."
It's in A right?
[laughs] -It's in A, yes.
[laughs] -That's good.
[laughs] -One, two, three.

And, I don't know, this melody was kind of running through my head, and I said every bluegrass band needs a train song, right?
-Right.
You got that right.
You can't play bluegrass unless you have a train song, you know?
-Right.

Well, I have this thing with this number, 444.
I don't know, I just see it all the time.
And I've been singing a lot in our journey with this band and stuff.
And do y'all know the address to this place?
It just so happens to be 444 Clearview.
But this next song is called "No.
444."
We were actually working on the, it was an instrumental, and Josh brought it to us, and we were working on the work tape.
And I looked down at my phone and you know, voice memos, they have numbers on them.
And guess what number it just happened to be whenever we were working on it?
