The 1985 Memphis-Made Film, The Old Forest, coming to WKNO October 3

In the 1980s, Steven John Ross came to teach in the University of Memphis's Department of Communication and Film with the idea of adapting a short story by Peter Taylor set in the Memphis of the 1930s. This hour-long period adaptation is a standout example of local independent filmmaking, involving Memphis filmmakers, film crew, technicians, and of course local actors.
