Last fall, The Slice partnered with a video production class at The University of Minnesota Duluth to give students the chance to create Slices from their point of view! This is the first of three you'll see over the next few weeks. And you'll notice the lack of snow in these. We're rooting for spring to come to the Northland ASAP!

We still go to tournaments and we get shir and everything and put it all together our We practice three times a week with the court on campus, and then in the winter we go to the Duluth indoor sports center.
And even though we're not a club team to the university, we are registered the United States Tennis Association, which other collegiate clubs are.
So we're almost a club sport, but it's a really big team sport, like talking to everybody and hanging out with everyone but attending to individual sport, because if you don't do your job, then you're not yourself anything.
You're just training.
So I think you're beneficial because you take care of yourself in the same time.
So I think that's what's really fun about it.
You kind of get the best of both worlds playing for yourself, but also playing for Advice I would give to young players is wise and not worry about the equipment you have right away.
So just try it.
Have fun with the old chunky racket or there you have to make it work.
And I'll say it's not hard to put it in.
It always has to go in for it to get better or faster or anything like that.
So before you learn where to put it, it just has to go over the net.
