Season 8 Episode 16 | 26m 30sVideo has Closed Captions

Host Cris Hardaway explores the music therapy that is literally "The Soundtrack of Life."

If you have a loved one with Alzheimer’s or dementia, then you know the pain of no longer being able to share a lifetime of memories. The disease slowly erases shared experiences. But science is discovering the regions of the brain last affected by the disease. And music therapy seems to be able to unlock a door that allows the person inside to come out again.
