The Mason Square area of Springfield is losing it's last full-service bank this month.
Springfield's Mason Square neighborhood is in danger of becoming a banking desert. TD Bank announced plans to close the neighborhood’s only full-service bank at the end of January. State Rep. Bud Williams & State Sen. Jim Welch explain why they asked the federal government to block the closure, which will cause financial hardship for an area with many residents living at or below the poverty line.
