(1946) In the thriller starring Hedy Lamarr, George Sanders, and Louis Hayward, young Jenny accepts a marriage proposal by businessman Isaiah but their romance quickly turns sour. Jenny finds interest in Isaiah’s college-age son and strikes up a chemistry with her best friend’s fiance. She does whatever it takes to get ahead and hides behind a facade of good deeds and a caring demeanor.
