I'm Jim Myers.

Today's session features the Tremolords from their appearance at the most recent Melrose Pop Festival.

Steeped in Orlando musi history, The Tremolords include former members of The Hate Bombs and deliver high energy, 60 inspired music with style and skill.

They've shared bills wit a number of musical luminaries, including the Woggles an Southern Culture on the Skids.

Consisting of Dav Ewing on guitar and vocals, Ken Chiodini on drums and vocals, Aaron Zacktan on bass and vocals, and Terry Mooney on keys, the ban also sat for a recent interview where they talked about their shared influences, their history and more.

Mick was also a founding member of the Hate Bombs.

And then so once that kind of fizzled out, we said no more of the Hate Bombs.

Doesn't feel right without Scott Sugiuchi one of the founding members, being here.

It feels weir trying to play Hate Bomb songs.

So we changed it to th Tremolords somewhere around 18.

And, you know, they started.

We started talking about.

Hey, they're having this thing.

It would be like, oh, wouldn't it be so cool to do a song for Jim?

So, so, like right then and there, I started formulating some lyrics you know, fleshed those out, but I couldn't figure out the music at all to save me.

So we went to a rehearsal and we just all started talking about it.

You guys started playing.

>>Well, I remember specifically he he was singing the song as it would go, but, the vocal was very, it was like it.

I was like, man, that song sounds like it's in the key of E. And so then I started playin this bass line in the key of E, and it was all E, with some, you know, notes in the, in the key of E and, and, I'm like, it's kind of goofy and they're like, no, it sounds awesome.

And then, Dave came up with the second part, and I think we wrote that song and like, we wrote the music for it.

And literally like maybe 5 or 10 minutes and, and, and it came together.

It was great.

>>So, you know, that's just that was a real full collaboration.

You know, Dave does a lot of on stage stuff.

Aaron as well.

And and the lights were like, really ambient and it looked like a club.

It was really cool.

And then we, when we played the sho when we were playing and stuff.

It was neat to have the cameras rolling and, you know, we were just kind of doing our thing, and, it felt they felt great.

I mean, I had a I had a great time.
