Michi Susan is a Japanese American artist of international merit who called Oklahoma home for the last 40 years of her life. Trained in the finest Tokyo art schools, Michi brought her country’s traditional techniques to her new home, but she quickly fell in love with the colorful vibrancy of Oklahoma and fused that vibrancy with her traditional training to create an artistic style all her own.
