There's just an energy that and it's an energy that comes from the crowd and the actors, and it's just that, and it's community, too.
I started in high school with the with the theater, as I, you know, as a young actor.
And just imagine that we've been through that many and that many changes in different facilities and just the growth that we've done and the new people that we've seen.
And yeah, 40 years.
It's just amazing that we've we've come that far.
We started off at Carlton High School in 1987, and and that was the small community of Carlton.
And then we kind of expanded into Cloquet and now into the into the Duluth area and the surrounding, the Carlton County.
We're like one of the only theaters in the, in the county.
So we really have to be have to really reach out and find new actors.
As we grow, when we have more in the season, we have to find more actors, we got to find news directors.
We are open auditions to everybody.
It's all community volunteer, all the actors and everything.
So those open auditions are in December already for that first show of our our 40th season.
That's Mr.
Toad's Mad Adventures.
So it's, it's a family show.
Our current season.
We've got a couple Christmas plays.
We've got, It's a Wonderful Life.
It's a radio show, first couple of weekends in December, and then after that One Christmas Carol.
Starring one of our local actors.
It's a one man plays all the parts.
Check us out on our website.
County seat theater.com.
We got a full Christmas thing, and then we're jumping right into the next season.
