And together they create this sort of traveling road show or like review, in an old-fashioned way, except there's nothing old-fashioned about their music.

>> Rob: We've been independent since we've started, and we decided to put out the records ourselves.
And the first CD that we put out, I remember Eric was like, "Should we put out 500 or should we put out 1000?"
I'm like, "Let's put a 1000 and be daring."
So we put out 1000 CDs and the next week we get a call from Germany, from Cologne, this record store called Groove Attack, and they ordered 2000 more CDs, and from there it just like kept going.
And I was like, "Man, maybe we can have a living doing this."

♪♪ >> Rob: I went to this high school and they had this class called Electronic Music, that you could take as an elective.
So I got to work with the first drum machines, the first step sequencers, analogue, modular synthesizers, real to real tape decks, and I just started playing with that stuff.
And for me to be involved with a program that taught me how to use all of that, it inspired me to create and become an artist that way.
And I don't think I would be here if that class didn't exist.
