For six decades, photographer Charles A. Libby documented Spokane’s early history.

At the beginning of the 20th century, Charles A. Libby photographed Spokane at a time of great change. For six decades, Libby documented the city’s rapid growth. It’s hard to imagine Spokane’s early history without visualizing a Libby photograph. He photographed four Presidents and left more than 200,000 negatives.
