It's called "A Song for a Rainy Morning."
♪ ♪ ♪ ♪ ♪ ♪ ♪ ♪ ♪ (crowd applauding and cheering) Before there was oil, before there was gas before there was gold, the currency was timber, was wood.
And I read a story about how dangerous the timber industry was and how so many people were trying to make a living.
So many people lo- lost their lives cutting down trees and- and all that kind of stuff, trying to get the tree into the river and then drowning and all that stuff.
So they were gonna make a film about this, and they asked me to write a piece of music about that, and they said, "It has to be a little sinister," you know.
(crowd laughs) And I said, "Can there be any hope in there?"
(crowd laughs) And then they said, "Yes, that there's room for a little hope, but it's gotta be pretty sinister."
So ladies and gentlemen, I hope that the hope gets to you tonight, that the sinister isn't too much.
Here it is, "Timberland."

And if I went that way, I'd end up back in America, somehow...
Doesn't matter where I am, I'm always halfway home.
That's the name of this song.

I've- I've toured over in Europe and England with- with her with a fantastic show over there called "The Transatlantic Sessions."
Jerry Douglas invited me over, and he brought her too, and she just blew my mind.
And we've recorded a track together for this new album.
But I wanted you to hear her, and meet her tonight and give her all your love and support.
