What is your emergency?
- [Jasmine] I'm gonna commit suicide and I want my family to know not to save me.
- [Dispatcher] I'm sorry?
- Jasmine went to the Air Force three days after graduation.
- She always talked about, "I'm gonna get outta here."
- I couldn't have asked for a better child.
- [Narrator] Jasmine began struggling with anxiety and depression.
- She was like, "I think I'm gonna commit suicide."
- And I mean, she's literally begging for help.
- The idea behind doing suicide investigations is to ensure for the family that there's closure.
- It's suspicious.
- How could a blonde Black girl who couldn't find a weed man, find a methamphetamine man?
- [Jasmine] Okay, why do you wanna commit suicide?
- Okay, I gotta go.
- [Dispatcher] Ma'am?
