(helicopter chuffing) (soldiers shouting) I think she was just trying to save me from knowing what kind of environment she was in.
- [Interviewee] She was a great leader.
Best drilled individual, platoon best drilled, female athletic team.
The easier question for me is ask me what team she was not on.
(hands slapping) - The atmosphere was still, the air wasn't moving, and the look on his face said it all.
(dramatic music) - [Interviewee] Politics is more important than the people of this country.
- I pulled every piece of lint off of her flag.
I didn't know what else to do with myself.
- I'm left with an image of my sister being alive.
- I think there's a lot of misinformation out there.
- Nothing can prepare you for that.
- Soldiers that have lost their lives, they're dead.
But it's the families that are left behind that are left to mourn for the rest of their lives.
