'Constitutional policing' part of training after takeover, state says in first update
The state attorney general’s office is finally sharing more details on the takeover of Paterson’s Police Department just over a week ago. According to Attorney General Matt Platkin, officers are undergoing training in patrol techniques, which includes what the office calls constitutional policing and other best practices. Some of the changes will be visible to the community.
