This couple lived in the woods before they found transitional housing and a new beginning

Each year, there are more than 9,000 North Carolinians who are homeless. Melody and James were homeless and living in the woods before getting the call from Homeward Bound. The Asheville-based organization provided a wide variety of support services including transitional housing which allowed them to prepare for their new lives.
