Buses, trains canceled as COVID-19 sidelines 900 staffers

Bus service is still operating at 94% of its weekday schedule and rail service at 97%
"I have to take Uber a lot," complains one NJ Transit rider, as she deals with another canceled bus. With fully 900 of its employees in quarantine and out of action, NJ Transit has been forced to cancel service for multiple buses and trains. Even though most service continues uninterrupted, riders must cope with erratic schedules —and yet another hit from omicron.
