NJ ranks 47th among US states for maternal deaths
A new Maternal and Infant Health Innovation Center is coming to Trenton, to provide some much-needed services to city residents. Trenton has long been called a labor and delivery desert because there are no maternity hospitals in the city. Right now pregnant women must travel to get the care they need and not everyone can afford to do that.
