Racism Unveiled

Trial & Tribulation: Can Law Schools Help Eradicate Racism?

Special | 13m 32sVideo has Closed Captions

Law schools train future social engineers. What if they did so with antiracist intention?

The criminal justice system is run by former law school students. A legal education gives jurists a zeal for justice, but also includes biased curricula, largely white faculty, a campus environment that targets students of color, and a debt challenge that lands harder on Black students. What if law schools saw eradicating racism in their systems as a central component of their mission?
