This station is the oldest station in the University System of 12 stations, and it was started in 1909, so we're well over 100 years old.
This event has been held annually since, 1998, 97 or 98.
It's called The Twilight Garden Tour.
Its a chance for the community, and the people of the state of Wisconsin to come in and hear from extension experts, station staff and our master gardeners.
I became inspired to grow hazelnuts on my own personal property, because of what I've learned here.
Just learning about all the various trials and all the different education and teachable moments and just the variety that we have.
It's inspiring.
With 12 different sites across the state of Wisconsin, Madison has several different farms with different focuses.
Here we focus on, the horticultural crops as well as what it's like in the soil type of northwestern Wisconsin.
I'm always doing something different with that large number of crops, and that large number of trials.
It's really about helping Wisconsin, and the people of Wisconsin succeed, whether they're an agricultural producer or a homeowner.
