They usually do it for our Easter and Halloween events.
I'm Allison Pribnow.
I'm a guest experience manager at the Lake Superior Zoo and we're making paper maché for the bears.
So this is Jack Skellington.
He's going to be given to the bears on the last Boo at the Zoo this year.
I have a Fresno Nightcrawler down here on the table here.
The coyotes will be getting them.
So depending on the animal, they'll get some treats next to it.
The bears really like to play with them and destroy them.
And then some of the animals, get some stinky spray on them.
Like the lemurs will get this ring right here.
And with that goes with the theme of Lord of the Rings in our primate building.
They are a lot of fun, and they're novel to them.
So we have an enrichment schedule.
We'll be posting, before each boo.
And so if you go to the exhibit of the animal at the time that the enrichment schedule is posted, you'll be able to see them get their treats.
I love all of the costumes of all the kiddos.
They're adorable, and some people have some really cool ideas that they come up wit I mean, I don't remember a ton as a kid, but I remember being a part of it as Zoo Crew.
I got to volunteer doing different stuff, like in the barnyard, the pumpkin hunt.
So now it's really cool to be an adult and be working at the event too.
