A town that celebrates the pigskin game by night and its beautiful parks.
By day.
We have outstanding Parts here in Hampton.
We got a quarter-mile track here to run and exercise.
We have weight station, especially for young men, that would like to start working out and building muscle.
You have to be in good shape to be a football player recognized by The Humana foundation in 2012 and 2013.
As one of the nation's, most playful cities Hampton is committed.
To building and maintaining state of the art community parks for residents of all ages to enjoy.
We take good care of our part.
We the city is a playful City.
We like to have a good time here.
We like to we do a lot of family activities here in the park.
This equipment is lots of stuff.
You see in a gym normally, but I have to say I've never seen it out at a part.
What?
All do we have going on today?
We've got several different pieces of equipment.
Here.
We got weight on the bar.
That's not lately, but I have in the past, so I have to admit.
Haven't gotten much lower body cardio in lately.
You think this thing can help?
I think it could help you a lot.
This equipment family football players This Year, free for them to use any of the high schools that want to come over here and work out.
And you should do the four to six reputation who three, four, five and six, that's good.
Okay, you don't need a gym.
Come to the park to work out wedding.
There we go.
Sandwiched between those green spaces.
Has is Lovejoy High School, where the Wildcats get their game on?
But long days on campus.
Don't stop the cats from taking in all the, their nearby parks have to offer.
I know a lot of the kids.
Sometimes, they like to go out and get eggs work, especially in the offseason.
They'll go to the parks.
And, you know, that's that's good for the community and the kids after the final school bell, rings in the last practice whistle blows.
You can find the Lovejoy football players here at the community Parks, putting in extra time.
The Wildcats of Demise Hamptons goal of keeping, the youth active and off the couch will come out about two to three times a week as a team, just to make sure our bodies in shape, you know, and everything.
Sharpened up for Friday night.
We use the works.
We do a lot of throwing cash, you know, a lot of Route running, but it's good for Community for togetherness, especially to see all the families and kids out a nice experience.
It's awesome to see the football players putting in that extra time and taking advantage of those parks.
And hey, I even got a great workout in and Blazer and jeans.
If you can believe it back over to you mark, Thanks very much.
A Grace coming up next, we've got these two teams or region Rivals.
They're both loaded with Talent.
They can both light up a scoreboard time.
Now to check in with our play-by-play man, Matt Stewart and our color commentator, former Atlanta Falcons Chuck Smith to talk, a little x's and o's a little chalk.
Talk in a segment.
We call extra point.
Thanks, Mark, Chuck.
Let's take a look at our extra points for tonight's game.
Let's start with Tucker.
They got a block, the big bodies up front on that Lovejoy defensive line.
I say, three the hard way, the middle three, look, they average 308 pounds on that Lovejoy defense.
Now, the offensive guards for Tucker 187.
We want to watch those middle 3.
Good afternoon.
We'll keep an eye on that.
Got to Duke it out with Preston.
That's Tucker corner Duke Shelly going up against one of the top wide receivers in the nation.
Preston Williams of Lovejoy.
You got a Kansas State commit.
Duke Shelly, one of the most phenomenal Talent George has ever.
Seen going to be matched up against Preston Williams.
A lot of people compare him to Calvin Johnson, the phenomenal Megatron were wide receiver here at Sandy Creek, was going to be a great matchup.
And by the way, is committed to Chuck's Tennessee Vols.
Yeah.
He's a ball.
He's committed.
Just a little side note there, Lovejoy.
Got to keep the linebackers moving this Tucker place a 335 stack defense got to keep those linebackers guessing.
I say you got to find the mole and that's what I'm saying is because the mole is going to be that fourth Blitzer.
They're going to have a three.
Man front then they're going to bring up the fourth Blitzer or the fifth and that's what's going to have to happen.
Lovejoy's gonna have to recognize fast.
Got a slow the roll.
This Tucker Wing T offense averages over 300 yards rushing.
They like the mash they like to roll they like to get after you and just make you have to chase them because they're so physical.
And this offense is averaging 50 points.
A game in this six-game winning streak.
They're confident and feel like that.
No one can stop them, Claire.
That's your extra points.
Thanks so much guys, it is so important.
For those students.
They were talking about to find a balance between Athletics and academics.
So, joining us now to talk about how to strike that.
Healthy balance is mr. Rich Novak.
The president of Cigna.
Thank you so much for being here.
Thanks for having me, Clare great to be here on Halloween night.
So one of the big keys for making sure you're balancing.
Your life is time management.
How important is that at time?
Management is everything, you know, it's something that typically adults learn when they get into Working world when you're a high school athlete and you're managing class time, and then practice time and gain time.
And you get home at 7:30, 8 :00 at night, you want on, why do you got to eat?
So, time management is key, in terms of striking, a balance between Athletics and then the most important thing which is academics and we're seeing some video now of the Stevenson High School football team in, their study hall teams, really do.
Try to make sure their athletes stay balanced, but parents are important, too.
Yeah, parents are Important to.
I mean, it really does take a community.
So the school, the coaches parents staying in touch with their kids and making sure they're on top of everything, making certain that their grades are in order and being consistent with that.
And obviously, it's good to be able to be balanced no matter what but especially for those who are hoping to play at the Collegiate level.
Yeah.
So for kids that are going to play at the Collegiate level making sure that they've got the right grades, the right test scores, the right balance of everything.
The NCAA can be a very unforgiving.
Organization, as many people know, and you've got to be able to make the grades, or you won't be able to play later on.
All right.
Mr. Rich Novak.
Thank you so much for being here for tonight.
Signature moment.
My pleasure, Claire.
Thank you.
All right time now to check in, with Jon Nelson.
He's standing by the head coach of the Tucker.
Tigers.
Brian Lamar take it away job.
Thank you very much.
Mark here with the head coach.
Let's just say that the word I would use with those drills.
You just went, through, is pretty intense.
You're expecting a lot tonight, is going to be a physical game.
Is gonna be a good.
Great football game.
Got two great teams.
Hello.
Enjoys outstanding on both sides of the ball and Specialty.
We gotta be ready to play football tonight and coming into this game.
A lot of coaches like to make sure that their non-region schedule sets up for their region schedule.
You did that with a massively tough schedule off the top to get them ready for nights.
Like yeah, we had some skills are starting off took some lumps, but hopefully we've gotten better over the over the past few weeks and then we'll see you tonight.
Huge test.
Okay.
So finish the match game for me.
You said it's a huge test for me to beat Lovejoy tonight.
I need to do blank.
Got to execute.
Kane allowed big place, they got great receivers, great skill kids.
We got to try to limit those and we got to find a way to move the ball offense.
Then we do that.
We'd be in good shape.
All right, we'll get back to your drills.
All right, buddy.
That's it for the head coach Tucker.
Brian them.
I'll send it back over to Mark and Claire for more the pregame show, you know, there's this a little chill in the air.
It's football weather.
No doubt.
Definitely football and Halloween weather.
Perfect.
Perfect.
All right, coming up next on our all-access pass.
We're going to talk about recruiting.
Matt Stewart will drop by.
And there are a lot of blue chippers to talk about on this.
This senior night plus.
I'm going to tell you how talented high school.
Students could win twenty five hundred dollars in this year's stop.
The drop contest that and much more is football Fridays in Georgia's all access pass continues right here on GPB football.
Fridays in Georgia on GPB is made possible in part.
By Regions Bank.

Would you welcome back to this Halloween Halloween edition of the GPB all access pass pregame show as we get ready for a battle between the Tucker tigers and the Lovejoy Wildcats and it has started raining tonight.
You know, we're treating our fans to a great pregame show, but we're getting tricked here by Mother Nature.
A little bit, but will Soldier on and move on.
We're got the Matt Stewart are great, play-by-play man coming in and we're going to talk college football.
Recruiting our Football Hall of Fame.
Recruiting Roundup and talk crap.
Right off the bat.
We're going to talk about the Tucker Tigers.
They got a big guy going to UGA, indeed.
They do Jonathan Ledbetter the defensive linemen who's ranked the number six defensive lineman in the entire country and Ledbetter committed to the Georgia Bulldogs back in August flipping from the Alabama Crimson Tide, and he's a 24/7 Sports composite for star and he plans to enroll in Georgia in December his brother.
Oh Joseph, joined the football team.
Back in the summer, as a tight end, after two seasons of playing basketball at 5 :00 for college.
Now Duke Shelly.
He goes play defense plays offense.
He's an outstanding player.
Yeah.
In fact head coach.
Brian Lamar says that Duke.
Shelly, reminds him of a sure Allen the former Tucker star who played with the Georgia Bulldogs and was a second-round draft pick of the Minnesota Vikings.
He committed to Kansas State in August highest right Prospect in the Wildcats class.
Chose, Kansas State over.
Listen, Louisville and Oregon a 24/7 Sports composite 3 star and the number 35 right corner back in the country.
Now talking about the Lovejoy Wildcats.
They've got a wide receiver.
That's one of the best in the country.
Yeah.
He's the real star in this ball game.
We're talking about Preston Williams, who committed to the Tennessee Volunteers last August.
So, 13 months ago, the September of his Junior season 24/7, Sports composite five-star the number four ranked wide receiver in the country.
You can't Take a look at his size here in the video.
You see how he dwarfed defensive backs.
He's already being compared to Calvin Johnson.
In fact, people who say the know that he's farther along in his development than Calvin Johnson was when he was a senior at Sandy Creek.
High School and Nick Saban is come in and snatched a kid to go to Alabama.
Absolutely Montrell.
Custis.
In fact, Montreal custis, the cornerback had committed to Kentucky last November and then he flipped his commitment to Alabama in April a 24/7 Sports.
Composite 3 Star Quarterback.
He's the cousin of former Lovejoy star running back.
Travis custis, who course sign with Georgia Tech played at Georgia Tech and is now at Hutch Community College.
Nobody knows recruiting like our Matt Stewart.
That's our College Football Hall of Fame.
Recruiting Roundup with Matt.
Thanks very much.
Absolutely.
All right.
Now we have some good news this week.
And that means that the graduation rate for Georgia high school seniors has gone up a lot of it can be credited you and your stop, the drop program and you're talking a little about mentoring and role modeling today.
Yeah, it's really a credit to all of these kids have been working so hard and these adults who have been working with them.
And there's a program called the Morehouse, Alumni Association mentoring program.
They just started it last fall and they are working to help students in the community just around Morehouse College.
So, one day, they can also become Morehouse men.
What do we discuss last week?
Responsibility and Jamar Logan is the mentor coordinator for the Morehouse College, Alumni, Association, or mcaa.
He's going over.
This week's mentoring curriculum with current Morehouse students.
These students along with alumni like Logan meet with kids from 8 to 17 years old to help.
Keep them on the right path with the interaction with the older alumni interaction with students who are currently there.
It just gives them something to reach for, you know, and I think, you know, people need that the Ram covers, everything from peer pressure to stereotypes to leadership and community service.
Saying, the young man actually be excited about engaging with us and learning, and actually feeling as though our presence is helping to open their minds up to their Futures.
So I think that's probably the most exciting thing that we've seen so far.
This is only the second year of the MCAS mentorship initiative, but Logan and other Morehouse alums.
Hope the program will grow.
Grow with the students.
They serve the whole goal is to make sure that they can come out on the other side, finish and complete high school.
And excellent way and attend to excellent institution, like Morehouse College.
The Morehouse mentorship program is just one of the many groups that we have been featuring this football season here on GPB is part of the stop, the drop Initiative for more information on other programs.

Exactly.
And now we are just a few minutes away from social media well from kickoff, so we're going to check in one more time with our social media correspondent, Grace, Olson.
Grace.
Thank you, Claire.
This rivalry tonight means a lot because these guys just played a few years ago for the State title and tonight playing for the region title life.
We've said, but there's also historic rivalry game going on down south tonight.
That's Lowndes and Valdosta in the winners Ville classic.
14.
I've been following what these fans the Vikings and Wildcat fans have been saying all week long on Twitter and they're so excited, that Valdosta moved Halloween, the official celebration of Halloween, to Saturday.
If you can believe it, here's a tweet.
We're going to show you from one of the fans named Alden Bynum, who says only in Valdosta.
Do they move Halloween to the next night for Friday Night?
Football, hashtag winners Ville.
And then next, we have a photo from Kelly on Instagram of the winners.
Well, Classic 2014 t-shirt.
I know there's a lot of production, put into that one and that It's a game.
We're going to be following all night long and we're going to be providing you the scores on air.
But the way for you to give those at the touch of a button is just a download the GPB football app.
It's free from the App Store.
Now, we're obviously very interested in what students are doing in high school, but go build is interested in what students are doing after they graduate and their whole goal is to educate students on the trade industry tonight.
We give you a look at the electrical field.
The future looks bright for these Georgia high school grads here at the Independent Electrical Contractors.
They're working as apprentice electricians where they're educated on one of Georgia's.
Most promising trades.
The whole program is geared to get these guys, therefore year certificate from the Department of Labor.
And this way, there a fully -fledged electrician journeyman companies like Metro power, hire new apprentices right out of high school.
One of Those newcomers is Jamie Morales.
A West Hall graduate.
Who knows the value of his craft the electrical trade.
It's always going to be here.
You need electricity for everything.
We got involved with gold Bill Georgia from from the very GetGo.
We saw it as an opportunity to reach out to the entire Community to tell them the shortage in the electrical field.
What we're trying to do is just get students to understand that there are viable career.
Ears in construction and Manufacturing and all of the trades and with the training here at the IEC.
Those career opportunities will only continue to grow the guys that we turn out every year.
We put them up against anybody in the world.
Now go build is a fabulous resource for Georgia.
Students interested in exploring George's trades and for you to find out more.
All you do is show you on my iPad here.
Go to go build georgia.com that website is full of information and insight to give you a little more information about how to explore Georgia's trades.
All right, let's send it back over to you guys.
Thanks so much grace.

We're really excited to be a partner with Georgia, public broadcasting and football Fridays.
And really happy to present a check to Lovejoy High School.
All right, we'll send it over to Keith.

We certainly appreciate.
And we think signal from being involved in our community.
Thank you.
Thanks.
I'll catch up with you at halftime.
We'll send it back over to the set for more the all-access pass, you know, that check never gets too heavy for those cheerleaders to hold up.
They work out.
Hey, dude, I'm looking pretty good.
All right, Jon Nelson comes back with John's Georgia.
He's got the story of a new track record when it comes to place kickers and Mark is going to talk to the head coach at Lovejoy.
Edgar Carson as we countdown to kickoff on football Fridays, in Georgia's all access pass right here on GPB.
Georgia, cotton Farmers.
Want you to know cotton is grown in 91, Georgia, counties on over 1 million Acres cotton makes a 2.5 billion dollar economic impact and accounts for over 15,000 jobs in Georgia.
Cotton's Innovative production has lowered water, use per pound of cotton by 75 percent.
Since nineteen eighty one bale of cotton can make two hundred fifteen pairs of denim jeans or 700 towels.
Cotton is a natural choice for, Georgia.
Go down to John Nelson.
Who's having a whole lot of fun?
Is that Jon Nelson a conductor?
Yeah, I grew up in DeKalb County.
So I knew all about the reputation world-renowned high-powered, High Octane and to get the chance to conduct that band on football Fridays in Georgia.
Are you kidding me to be able to climb on that ladder and get them through a number in one piece?
It's one of the coolest things I've ever got the chance to do here at GPB.
I cannot wait to see what this season.
Bring go on.
The GPB Sports Facebook page and let us know some of your favorite moments.
On Masterpiece.
We should Define the ray.
Let's call it helping there is knowledge or consent.
That I think secretly is the best way to nice the paradise on Masterpiece Sunday at 8:00 on GPB.
Next time on, Finding Your Roots, Carole, King, Tony Kushner, and Alan dershowitz on being Jewish in America and those days Jewish performers, typically change their names when I would come home from a Brooklyn Dodger game, and say Grandma.
The Brooklyn Dodgers won.
She was a yeah, but was it good or bad for the Jews?
We all went through our childhoods feeling proud that we were Jews, Finding Your Roots, Tuesday at 8, on GPB.
Welcome back to chance of a lifetime.
It's the final stage of the game.
And it's also time for Jane to choose a door, help her out.
What door should she pick?
All right.
So Jane, which door did you choose?
Think I'm gonna go with door.
Number two or number?
Oh, wait a minute.
It looks like it says right here that you never graduated high school.
So none of these doors are available to you.
That's it for chance of a lifetime.
We'll see you next time.
And when you wake up, mama, stop.
A beautiful rendition of The Star-Spangled Banner.
As we welcome, you back to gpb's all access pass coming at you live from Hampton.
Georgia, has 12 Oaks Stadium on Halloween night.
This game will decide a region Championship.
Very spooky indeed.
Absolutely.
Both teams are 6 and 2 both teams 3 and 0 in the region X.
With all that excitement we bring in our expert, Jon Nelson for a segment called Jon's Georgia brought to you by Georgia.
Zmc.
All right.
Topic number one.
We've got Harris County, win a big one and this is one of the regions that is in play this evening as well.
We're going to spend some time and Diverse Power with this one to find out how Carver had a streak snapped Last Friday Night in Hamilton.
Let's go to Tiger Field and show you what happened, but early on it was actually Juwan pass.
Who gave him a six-nothing lead and then it was take Quan Marshall.
Put picking them up and putting them down there 76.
There, Carver would come back.
But the final score 34:14, Carver's region winning streak ends at 53 With the Wind there by Harris County.
That's it for topic.
One, Mark.
What's topic number?
Two, topic number two, a defending state champion, keep rolling on.
There's a reason we had them in back, roads and back fields.
Let's talk about Aquinas.
So spend some time in Washington, EMC, and planners EMC for their win last week, against Warren County.
You're going to notice a lot of the running game.
Here's Reuben Garnett.
He's going to go all the From the left to all the way to the right.
That means one thing he scored 43 14, the final there, Aquinas still undefeated James Leonard still undefeated as a coach tonight, they play Lincoln County for a big region battle.
That's it for topic to it's topic 3 topic 3 Rachel Palazzo.
Tell us her story a couple of weeks ago when we were here on football Fridays and we had the Hillgrove Marietta game.
You heard the story of Rachel Palazzo, who was going to get some time kicking for Hill for Hillgrove in a game and she did against Kennesaw Mountain and here is the result of Coach, Ironside.
He's letting her kick.
She goes 747 in P 80s in the big win.
Over Kennesaw Mountain.
So the soccer player gets some reps and puts them right through the uprights.
So as a your want to say in the old days you go girl way to go Rachel Palazzo up and he'll grow.
Alright, that's Jon's Georgia brought to you by Georgia EMC.
All right now just moments ago.
I talked to head coach, Edgar Carson the first year coach Lovejoy Wildcats about tonight's big game that will decide Region 2.
Well, they're fired up.
This would be a big win for us tonight.
They'll pull us in first seed, in the region.
So, we're ready to get started eight games in.
Talk a little about what you've learned about the team this year.
I'll team fight hard.
We played some tough games so they know how to keep fighting through adversity.
So, one thing we're not worried about is worried about our kids, quit talk.
A little about this matchup with the Tucker.
Tigers.
Obviously, they come in 6 and 2/3 and on the region as well, great program, close to the mall, done the good.
Our from taking over from Coach Stevens.
So it's going to be a great game.
I'm not worrying, so much worried about Tucker.
I'm just making sure that we execute talk little about the talent level that will be seeing on the field of that.
There's a lot of kids going to D1 schools and big D1 schools will be playing tonight on GPB.
Yeah.
I'm watching film all wheat Tucker.
That's an athletic Bunch.
We also have a good group of athletes all sales.
So we're just going to see how it turned out in the end.
Now, cheer first season here is the head coach at Lovejoy house.
The first season gone for you.
It's been a great.
Season the kids have responded.
Well, so I've been with him for the last three years of my fourth year with him.
So it's been great, talk a little bit, about one final time, this being for all the marbles and region to first time as a head coach.
So it's important to get the win.
It's very important.
I'll kiss are looking for the challenge they up for the match up.
So we're ready to roll coach.
Good luck tonight, right?
Thanks boy.
And if he could win tonight and win a region title in his first year as head coach, that's the way you want to start off your career.
Yep, and you're going to want to stay.
Tuned to see that.
We are counting down to kickoff.
But before we do that, we want to check in one last time with Grace Olson.
She has some Halloween photos Grace.
That's right.
I thought in keeping with the Halloween theme.
I thought I'd share with you.
Some of the players favorite costumes that they've worn in the past.
So I had them.
Tweet me first.
I've got Lovejoy.
Linebacker.
You can see right here.
Chauncey Jackson and a really scary.
Skeleton.
Skeleton costume.
I think it is.
The second photo we have is Wildcats outside linebacker.
Jason hog, dressed up in Scooby-Doo, doesn't love.
Badou and third Lovejoy wide receiver Tremaine Dillard dress up and that classic bright red Elmo costume.
Absolutely adorable there.
Now.
I'm always on the lookout for what fans are talking about all week long, on Twitter, feed and Facebook and Instagram, like I told you, so let me show you this graphic.
We've got right here at.
I know, one of the big matchups are what watching tonight on the field.
Has one of the best, the state's best, defensive backs and Duke Shelly going up against Preston Williams.
So join the conversation on Twitter.
Love me know what you think when you see the matchup on the field because that's going to be a great one to watch.
And enjoy your Halloween back over to you Mark and Claire.
All right.
Thanks so much.
Grace.
Well, it's gotta be a thriller Mark.
It's gonna be a thriller.
It is the Tucker Tigers versus the Lovejoy.
Wildcats.
It is game time here on football Fridays in Georgia live on GPB January's likely when this recession starts.
Economy with skidding back into recession or worldwide recession, the recession recession recession.
What recession, even during our darkest Financial hours.
Americans, still found enough scratched by in at Halloween.
Last year, we spent nearly seven billion dollars in all the Tricks and Treats.
Now, the bulk of the spending each year goes into costumes, but not just for humans last year, pet owners actually shelled out 330 million bucks, just to embarrass their four-legged friends.
Yep, plenty of Grumpy Cat's to be found on a night like this, but why stop at nearly grumpy cats?
We've got tigers and wild cats snarling on the sidelines, cost around and helmets and pads.
For the kind of cat fight.
That's guaranteed to leave some marks on one side of the field, the Tucker Tigers a team with two recent state titles to their credit last year.
The team went 14 and one under returning coach.
Brian Lamar all the way to the 5A championship game at the Georgia Dome Lovejoy.
Wildcats are always a good bet to make the playoffs.
Last year, they posted a 10 and 2 record.
But this year brings some major readjustments.
Not only are the Wildcats playing in a new region.
They have a new coach.
This season is Edgar Carson steps into the mighty large shoes of Clayton County Legend, Howard Hughes.
We're ready to put some of the howl and Halloween you in because we're live for football Fridays and, Georgia.
Happy Halloween from Twelve Oaks stadium in Hampton, Georgia, to another football Friday in Georgia on GPB tonight.
The ninth, right Tucker, Tigers meet the Lovejoy.
Wildcats.
This will decide the region to 6A Championship.
Just the second meeting ever between these two teams.
The first since Tucker beat Lovejoy 6:38 in the 2011 state championship game.
Lovejoy comes in.
They've won four consecutive region titles.
They've won.
36 consecutive region games, they have not lost a region game.
Since 2009, of course, Tucker is new to Region 2, 6, a and happy Halloween.
I'm Matt Stewart joined by former Atlanta Falcons star defensive end Chuck Smith.
Great ballgame tonight.
A lot of great matchups on the field, featuring Duke Shelly, and Preston Williams.
Let's start with Preston Williams.
He is the number four right wide receiver in the country.
He is committed to your Tennessee Vols and he's going to be a big factor in tonight's ballgame.
Yeah, and I got a chance to stand.
And up next to him and the guy is tall.
He looks like a small 40 reminds me of like, Scottie Pippen.
Oh Chicago Bulls player.
He's got range.
He's got long arms and he's explosive.
One of the top receivers in the country.
And a lot of people compare them to Calvin Johnson formerly of sandy creek.
And you know, I'm sure the Vols Nations pretty excited about having he will be matched up against the Tucker.
Tigers Duke Shelly, who has been compared to former Tucker star Asher.
Allen went on to play with the Georgia.
Bulldogs in the Minnesota Vikings.
I love Duke Shelly.
He's a phenomenal.
He can play offense.
He plays defense, but one of the intangibles tonight, you want to watch out for.
He's a punt returner and he's electrifying with the ball in his hands, but he has a matchup and so he's mad to Duke it out against Preston Williams.
So I mean, this is a, this is a kind of matchup.
You want to see in high school football, two guys that compete and they went at it a little bit earlier this year in the summer and some of the 707s, but now they got the pads on.
It's time to see who really measures up and Shelly is committed to Kansas State.
You'll see him on offense as well tonight, but maybe not as much as usual.
Because his defensive responsibilities are very big this evening.
Now, when Tucker has the football, they wrung the wing T, and they run it as well.
As anybody averaging over 300 yards, rushing per game, led by Delvin.
Weems who's committed to Marshall and the number 21.
Ranked all-purpose back in the country.
While up Devin Williams.
He can catch the ball.
He can run, he can block.
He's an all-purpose back.
That does more than just, you know, run the ball.
And like we said, he gets the job done.
I'm really excited by him and he's a little underrated.
I really believe.
Has power, but he's going to be a big factor tonight.
Running the ball for this Tucker offense.
Well, good luck running the ball against this big Stephenson defense.
Their front line is huge Jay.
Sean Grant had 17 tackles for loss.
He's part of an interior defensive line that averages over 300 pounds, and they're a gigantic and that's the key.
They want to number one.
They want to lock up the middle for this Tucker offense and stop those quick guards at Tucker from moving around.
They want to knock him in the backfield and get penetration.
Ian, Rayshawn, Grant, I'm tell EJ.
Sean is an incredible talent and he's going to be a One Direction with today.
And you mentioned those quick guards because they run the wing T. They have small guards.
Their guards only about 187 pounds on average.
So they're given up over 100 pounds on that offensive and defensive line will be an interesting matchup to watch.
But that nasty though.
I'm just tell you a quick and and nasty.
That's not coach.
Describing quick quick wins the game.
All right.
Let's check in with the third member of our team on this Halloween night.
And that's Don Nelson down on the field.
Thank you very much.
Matt.
Good evening, everyone.
However, you are accessing us.
However, it's on GPB TV, gpb .org, or the GPB Sports app.
Matt, and Chuck have talked about how this is going through this side.
A region Championship.
Allatoona was first in the barn.
Last week 26.
More regions can be decided tonight to determine one seeds to seeds and all the way down the line.
We're going to have a lot of coverage for you tonight with all of the positioning going on.
And it couldn't be any more Haywire than in regions.
76, a, as an example.
Now, let's take a look at the region ladder and the key is all the way down there at Mill Creek, bottom line and get out your slide rules because there's going to be a test later Mill.
Creek wins in both.
The region title goes to North Gwinnett Mill Creek, meets Norcross.
The region title goes to North Gwinnett Mill Creek beats Peachtree, Ridge.
Only, it goes to Norcross that Mill, Creek loses them.
Both.
It turns into a three-way tie with coin, flips combinations, and permutations that only Magicians from Caltech can figure out.
So we're going to have a lot of election coverage tonight.
We'll let you know what else is going on early scores.
Buford with a quick seven on the board and their game and Colquitt County.
One play, 80 yards, 15 seconds down in region 1.
They have a seven.
Nothing lead.
On tip.
We'll have more as we go.
So let's light the candle from Twelve Oaks will send it back upstairs to Matt and chuck.
All right.
Thank you.
John, should be an interesting night.
You saw in the open.
The wind is really whipping around out there and it rained, pretty heavy for about a minute about 25 minutes ago.
So, if you take a look at that was a splash, that wouldn't quite a rain yet.
Well, Edgar Carson in his first year as the head coach of the Lovejoy, Wildcats replacing, the highly successful.
Al use who put this program on the map and won 104 games in 13 seasons and led them to two state finals.
Edgar's been the DC, the last three seasons.
He takes over as the head coach here in 2014 and the Wildcats are 6 and 2.
They have won three games in a row and coming off a 4115.
At Newton County last Saturday afternoon.
Now Bryan, Lamar is in his third season as the Tucker.
Tigers head, coach Thirty and six his record his tenth season overall as a coach at Tucker.
He has been an assistant coach at Tucker every season since 2004 except 2011, when he left to be the basketball head coach at Stockbridge and he was the defensive coordinator from 2007 to 2010 for Franklin Stevens before bumping up to be the head coach.
Well, Tucker over the last 15 years has been one of the top programs in the entire State State Champions in 2011, when they went 15 and 0.
They also wanted in 2008 and 2011.
They beat Lovejoy for the state championship.
They were state finalist last year, losing the Creekside.
They've won at least 13 games in four of the last six seasons and they've won at least ten games in 12 of the last 14.
Teen Seasons 167 and 24, since 2015 region titles eight in the last 13 years, and they've had nine undefeated regular seasons since 2001 and tonight.
They will try to stop.
What is a phenomenal region?
Winning streak for Lovejoy, Chuck.
They have 136 region games in a row first in Region, 4 for a.
And then the last two years they've continued the streak and region 26a, they have not lost.
Lost a region game in 5 years plus one day.
Their last region lost came in 2009 against Chapel Hill, on October 30th of that year, when we talked to coach Ed Carson, this week.
He talked about how important that streak was to his players.
And you know, when you win like that, it's a testament to not only the community that the strength program that the principle of the entire, you know, Lovejoy program that they're able to consistently win that way in.
Just just phenomenal, having that kind of a winning streak time for our gobuildgeorgia.com kickoff.
Line Drive, kick is going to sell out of bounds.
And so that will be a penalty on Tucker and Lovejoy will take over at the 35-yard line.
Learn a skill.
Build a career at Georgia.
Gobuildgeorgia.com.
How to get the ball to 35 yard line?
I don't think coach Lamar expected that it's going to be interesting to see how this offense comes out.
If they, they've transitioned a little bit over Lovejoy.
They've added an h-back and then want to run a little more power.
But when you got a Preston Williams and you got them again to Duke Shelly, you know, they're gonna be playing man-to-man, you know, they're going to take a few shots early.
So what Joy starts on offense led by their quarterback.
Quintarius, Neely quintarius, Neely will go to the are on the very first snap.
He goes up top for Preston Williams in the ball up for grabs and intercepted by Duke Shelley at the 34 yard line.
Duke Shelly with his third interception of the Season that ball just hanged up there.
Well, we talked to second ago, and I don't know, but I was thinking just like, coach Ed Carson, but I knew they would have been she tried to take a shot of course, with Preston Williams.
And we talked about that match up with Duke Shelly and exactly how I thought it might start out then taking a shot when you got a playmaker like that.
They thought they had man -to-man but they were actually playing in a cover.
Three Zone which puts all the puts the corners and safeties deep that ball.
Just kind of died up there.
And the first step for Tucker and they're gonna go for the home run and they've got a man from scrimmage a 65-yard bomb and the tigers are on top.
So Lovejoy takes their shot gets interception.
Tucker takes their shot and gets a touchdown.
That's how you come out.
Hit me, Brian.
Lamar that off.
It's over there.
Tucker.
You come out and counter.
That was the exact same plate.
Literally that Lovejoy ran, but it worked because they found man-to-man coverage.
If you will showing that the replay a lot of guys on the, because of mine expecting run.
They broke a tendency there.
Matt of running the ball coming out here early for Tucker.
Surprised shocked Lovejoy.
Tombs with his third touchdown catch of the Season, Shakir puts the p80 through and Tucker strikes, like lightening gets an interception and then turns it immediately into foinx on the tcsg touchdown replay to receive a route that they said one guy on the curl route.
The other one runs at nine streak straight right now feel play-action pass.
Excellent job.
Setting your feet.
He was throwing this one deep, no matter what.
Garrett.
Rigby number 16 to quarterback at Tucker.
He was going deep automatically.
Look at that.
You see, you get an out route.
Nice job by the receiver, pulling the safety down.
They were expecting run, simple, as that.
Play action pass.
Excellent job by the Tucker offense.
That's how you want to start off a game.
If you're on the road.
That's what coach Lamar talk about starting fast.
When you're in enemy territory.
Tyler tombs.
Outruns the coverage for the touchdown.
Down Garrett, Rigby with his 11th, touchdown pass and Tucker with the early 7 -nothing lead.
Going to rock it quarterback.
Garrett.
Rigby throwing with such accuracy, and his best position is not even quarterbacks at free.
Safety amazing.
Nice throw, nice throw.
From the 5-yard line.
That's rude and route gets pulled down by the facemask and that's going to be a penalty.
That was as bad.
A face mask.
You can get him with rip his head off.
Now, the bad one there now.
Nick Broadwater, grabbed him by the face mask, and that'll be a 15-yard penalty after they had stopped Lovejoy at the 16-yard line.
Herbert Phillips is our referee facemash from up here.
That was a lot of time for you, reaching out.
It happened so fast.
The speed of the game is so fast.
So I understand how it does happen.
But he's this was a lot of let let it speak for itself.
Delbert, holy backwards.
Now, it was not Broadwater.
That did that was I believe Jonathan Ledbetter and Ledbetter number nine.
The commitment to the Georgia, Bulldogs was the guy who got him with the face mask with my pardons, to Broadwater Neely rolling to pass and throws over the arms of Dillard for main Dillard.
The intended receiver, as we take a look at the Region's Bank Lovejoy offense with Conley Jones.
Listen, Perry.
And Ellis up front.
Randy Robinson.
The center is a four-year starter night is the tight end Williams and Diller to the wide receivers.
Jackson is the H back and Kevin Strong Morris is the starting tailback.
At 335 defensive Tucker.
We have to find the blitzers.
When I was be one coming Rico till he gets the handoff and till he gets stopped.
Right?
In his tracks Akeem Peters, the Pony making the tackle as we take a look at the Region's Bank.
33 stack defense for the Tucker, tigers and Williams, Ledbetter and Peterson up front and they're really good.
The linebackers Elijah Sullivan committed to Auburn Stroger and Coleman.
And in the secondary Duke, Shelly der Rigby Peters and Beckman.
Yeah, that's right.
As Chuck was alluding to Garrick rid.
Be the starting quarterback is also.
They're starting free safety.
There's Duke Shelley.
Who's already?
Got an interception in this game?
Third down and long for Lovejoy.
Heavy Rush catch made by Khalil Rogers tackle made by Peters not enough for the first down and a punting situation for Lovejoy.
Can you see Tucker playing games out of that?
335 already?
You know, it's interesting.
Brian Lamar the, he's a defensive minded, head, coach and nice job.
There.
Didn't know who they were going to bring the end up.
Bringing the middle linebacker, Brian Stroger number 42.
He ended up being the mold that The king for this defense is coming it.
Smoking mirror.
Sending blitzer's enough.
Nice start for Tucker on defense.
I got to figure it out.
Now, Lovejoy is got to figure that out really fast.
Preston Williams stands depandi's at the 18 yard line.
No rush backing up and Shelly takes it bobbles.
It now has some Running Room Duke Shelly across the 50 and Shelly still on his feet and finely spun out of bounds.
Great.
Turn by Duke Shelly, tackle made by Candler ellerby.
And I'm sitting up here saying Duke.
Don't do it.
Don't do it.
Then it becomes a daredevil, but that's what Playmakers do they make plays.
That's what I like right here.
You don't have to go out of bounds.
Keep going.
He's electrifying returning punts on your Kansas State.
You got it.
Just excited to have such a playmaker coming in that can help you in all fancy can help you on defense and coupling teams.
He is the highest ranked Prospect in the hands of State class and he sets the Tucker up, Tucker offense up again with another play rate, return, personal file.
On the contain 15 job, pulling it from the other run.
First down.
Wow, 15-yard penalty on top of the 26-yard, return by Duke.
Shelly, will give Tucker the ball at the 21 yard line and Lovejoy in grave danger here, chunk of falling into a very deep hole early in the first quarter.
Yep, and you give them good field position now support for that Victory.
We talked about those big bodies of Lovejoy.
They got to step up here.
On the end around Delvin Weems.
Delvin.
Weans close to a first down, 59, 195 pound, senior, with 737 yards.
Rushing averaging, 92 yards per game and 13.
Touchdowns close to a first down, carry for Weems.
First time.
He touches the ball, nice Cut.
I need a Band-Aid.
I'm like, that was nice.
See, we lined up behind the guard.
There was some movement up front.
I believe this is going to be on Tucker.
Hello, Auntie.
So there s down in one becomes a second down and six, you know, I know this Tucker offense, they're going to want to bang it in the middle.
Then they're going to eventually want to run to the field.
They got a lot of field here to the left.
Broadwater gets the handoff and Broadwater, not a whole lot of running room for Broadwater.
That time.
Chris Henderson the defensive end making the tackle.
Now it's going to be third down and about five or six to go.
Broadwater, the full-back of 510 195 pounds senior with 334 yards rushing five, touchdowns averaging eight yards per carry.
Third down from the 16.
They can pick up a first at the 11 Duke.
Shelly lines up at the tailback position.
They throw the pasta Peters instead and Akeem.
Peters picks up the first down at the 10 yard line.
Tremendous ball skills.
I came Peters you see him catching a ball out of the backfield.
Nice play action pass by number 16.
Garrett Rigby the Tucker quarterback.
Nice sale gets it out of his hands fast.
All the quarterback has to be as a facilitator just get Body your hands and get them to The Playmakers.
That's what you want to do.
Couldn't ask for a better start of your Tucker right now.
First and goal to go from the nine.
Broadwater gets the handoff Broadwater knocked to the ground at the 8-yard line.
Chauncey Jackson the Mike linebacker making the stop right there.
Really important here for this Lovejoy defense.
This Tucker team has a tendency to run to the field.
They bang it to the boundary and they like to run speed sweeps to the field or they'll give Rigby a to Rigby to a two-way option.
Runner past got to be careful here today to this field, right up the middle inside the 5-yard line.
That was more.
Williams getting the care.
So a little bit of a wrinkle here for Tucker.
They have not run, Maurice Williams much, but they line him up at the back position and give him the hand off.
So now it's going to be third down and goal from the 3.
Great job by the Tucker offensive line handling that those three big bodies in the middle.
So far Delvin.
Weans for the touchdown three yard touchdown, run for Delvin Weems and five minutes into this game Edgar Carson's.
Lovejoy.
Wildcats are down two scores.
Run a power play right here.
All that was was a outside power and up.
Pulling it back side, guard, comes downhill.
Nice, run.
Camry Shakir on for the p80 and Shakira boots.
It through.
Now 43 out of 46 on the season and Tucker has jumped out to a stunning.
14, to nothing lead here in the region, 268 championship game as Delvin.
Weems runs over Beast football, Fridays in.
Georgia.
On GPB is made possible in part.
By Regions Bank.
It's time to expect more George's.
Electric Membership Corporation.
Way technical college system of Georgia, learn more earn, more Cigna, go, you and viewers like you.
Thank you.
Some questions, can't wait until morning.
So I'm one of many nurses at Cigna with answers, anytime day, or night.
I'm Lauren, and I've got your back.
She's perfectly healthy, Cigna covers preventive care.
That's having your back.
Tucker is had the ball twice and they have scored twice.
They lead the Lovejoy, Wildcats 14 to nothing first.
It was an interception by Duke Shelly and then a 65-yard touchdown pass from Rigby to tombs and then a great return by to Shelly and a 3-yard touchdown, run by Delvin Weems to cap.
A 21-yard touchdown drive as the rain starts to come down again here.
Twelve Oaks Stadium.
Good job.
So far by the Tucker offensive line really getting after them.
I'm watching the guys to bars.
King Donovan Carpenter everybody really doing a great job and Taj ranking.
Don't a good job.
They're controlling this big three right now of Lovejoy.
That was one of the keys we talked about for this Tucker offense to have success in right now.
The offensive line is rolling right now.
Tucker.
So this Lovejoy Wildcats offense that has scored more than 40 points in five of their first eight games has been shut down here.
While Tucker has put two touchdowns on the board already route from the 15-yard line and Roots going to go down again inside of that 20-yard line.
That was Courtland Rogers down there to make the first hit on him.
And again Lovejoy starts in very poor field position.
It's coming down.
Feel this when you cover kickoff, you are an animal.
You got to be a wild man.
Good job, right there coming down field, making a great play by Courtland Rogers, Rogers, the first to hit them and then Sam Bryant cleaned it up.
So First and Ten for Lovejoy from the 18 yard line.
And off Kevin Morris and he's not going anywhere.
Got tripped up in the offensive back field by tiberias Peterson.
Nice.
Nice play by to various Peterson that time Tucker's show.
They're in a four-man front.
They brought one of their ponies down to become the Fourth Man.
Anticipating the run the job by to Barry's Peterson a three-star.
24/7 Sports composite number 27, defensive end in the junior class of 2016.
Second down and 11 Lovejoy has been moving backwards, the whole night.
And Boris not a whole lot of running room for Kevin Morris.
Good Luck.
Running against this Tucker defense Chuck.
They are averaging allowing just 38, rushing, yards per game and only 102 yards of total offense per day.
That's mind-boggling.
I mean that that that's efficient.
It's hard even believe that you could shed a team down to so few yards, but they're well-coached again there.
They're well coached and they got a lot of big-time players on this defense.
So third down and seven.
Neely looks like a busted play.
Look like he wanted to hand the ball off to Aaron Miller, and that's going to be a sack back at the 16 yard line.
I believe Elijah Sullivan might have been the first guy to get in there.
Yeah.
Elijah, they threw the kitchen sink.
This time.
This is a six-man pressure.
They threw the kitchen sink.
They threw the table mat.
They threw the chandeliers, he threw everything out.
And we talked about, The more Blitzer on that time, you only got five to block.
You're going to have sent six blitzers and it's hard to stop.
Sophomore linebacker.
My Cello Labon will end up getting the credit credit for the sack.
A high kick that sells over the head of Peters and he chases it.
Look at that thing Bounce.
It is going to roll dead.
At the 7-yard line.
That was a 70 yard kick by Preston Williams.
That was a heck of a kick, man.
That was a kick.
We meet for troll, pretty hard rain, even before I got the benefit of the world, Matt.
It was a, I mean, it was a night.
It came off of his foot.
You can hear it up here in this booth like, boom.
You could hear it.
He blasted that thing.
It was at least 50 yards in the air with a 20-yard roll.
You talk about flipping the field.
They might not have been able to get the ball to Preston Williams yet on offense, but he just did some damage with his punting Foot Right There.
Rains coming down a little bit more.
Now could could become a factor.
Wow, is it when it comes to the ball control?
We got a penalty on Lovejoy that's going to erase that.
70-yard tip.
That's what's up.
That's a shame right there.
That's a huge.
You flip the field.
Like, I mean, he kicked from about the 10 yard line and it rolled dead inside the other tip.
From from a team standpoint.
That is a huge Downer.
It's a huge Downer because now Tucker, not only do they get the they have a chance to gain at least 20 30 yards, but now you're kicking the ball to Duke Shelly.
Again, want a guy who's already almost broken one.
And we talked about this earlier.
He is electrifying open field as a player who's played in Rain.
There's nothing harder than chasing a player that can move in on a wet surface.
Like they're playing on today.
So Williams will try to kick it again.
Another high kick.
This is not a bad cook, either.
They're going to make a fair catch on it.
And Shelly makes the fair catch in the rain at the 50-yard line, but they gained about 42 yards.
That's a huge change.
That's huge.
That's a whole half of football.
That is now that was a 38 yard.
Kick.
Now.
That's the same kind of kick.
That was a nice kick to that act trouble.
Hang Time.
Well the great kick, but didn't get the benefit of the role and now you're right.
You end up.
Gaining what?
40?
Some odd yards now.
Out in your, your one yard from being in plus field position on Lovejoy side of the ball, which is, which is a tough one, which is a tough one.
There's Garrett Rigby the junior quarterback.
You see his numbers on the season.
He's completed 53 percent of his passes for six hundred and eighty yards and 11 touchdowns, and the ball was fumbled and the ball was recovered by Lovejoy.
How big break for Lovejoy Big Break.
Chauncy Jackson forced the fumble and Makai Bruce ended up with the fumble.
He pokes it out.
Excellent job.
Excellent job.
Big play by Chauncey Jackson to force that fumble after.
They had erased a 70 yard kick and they're going to wave off the flag.
So that's good news for Lovejoy.
The last thing need they needed was another good play to be erased by a penalty.
If you decide to coach at Carson's face at Lovejoy, I mean you would have thought it was a rotten egg in front of them.
I'm glad he'd have to deal with that one.
But again huge Play getting that arm in there for just from the mindset, just for the momentum of this Lovejoy team, getting a break.
Everything's been going against a, but you make your own breaks.
And that's what happened on that play on that fumble.
When I finally do get a break.
Let's see if Lovejoy can do something with it.
Now with about four minutes left here in the first quarter.
They take over in Tucker territory at the 47 yard line.
Neely drops the ball and he just did get back on top of that.
Looks like he took his eye off of it at the last second.
Remember that ball is got to be kind of slippery out there because we've had fumbles now on consecutive plays and it was raining hard.
Just a few moments ago takes his eye off.
The ball, was able to get on top of that ball.
Just ahead of Anton Coleman, the blitzing linebacker.
Most important part of taking a snap is getting the snap.
Is it can't make a play without the ball, in the hands of quarterback.
Second down and 15 again.
The ball is bobbled, Preston, Williams, loses it and it's finally recovered I Believe by Malik route or was it recovered by Tucker?
It was recovered by Tucker and Anton Coleman.
So three consecutive fumbles and Tuck.
Corinne's up with the ball.
Got Preston Williams at quarterback.
Looks like they're going to run a wildcat.
Some kind of sweet to the field balls wet.
Got to have ball control and that's the thing.
It no matter if you take the role of being the quarterback, the reason why quarterbacks of the most important players on any team because they handle the ball 99.9% of the time Matt and when you put a Preston Williams in there, you know, and he drops it.
He's at that point.
He becomes the quarterback because he's the most important person.
So again Tucker inside Lovejoy territory Rigby rolling to his left and throwing on the run and it is incomplete Akeem.
Peters the intended Get it, the 26, yard line.
As we take a look at the Region's Bank, starting lineup for Tucker on offense.
King, watch Carpenter, Doxie, and Crawford Crawford.
Now in his second year, starting as a junior Wings, Broadwater and Brian are the backs with Ledbetter at tied in and tombs who caught a 65-yard touchdown pass on their first play from scrimmage at wide receiver.
2nd down and 10.
Hand off balance and Bryant Bryant inside the 30 and Bryant run out of Bounds at the 15 yard line of 20 yard pickup for Sam, Brian, who's starting in place of the injured?
Raquan Rush.
Got another flag on the play.
Could be a block in the back here.
Holding offense.
Ten-yard penalty from the spot of the foul.
Hold replay second down.
So that is going to erase the 20 yard run by Sam Bryant maybe the wide receiver.
Yep.
Number 17.
Tyler tombs.
Perhaps was called for the hold like he might have been locked up with a linebacker and remember in high school.
Football holding is a mark off from the spot of the foul.
So it ends up being a four yard penalty from the line of scrimmage second down and 14.
Wings coming around the end and wanes, trying to change direction, slips on the turf and goes down to take a look at the Region's Bank Lovejoy starting lineup on defense.
They go with the traditional five-man front Henderson, Grant, Robinson Bell and Bruce.
Don't usually see that anymore.
I like that.
That's what we read in high school.
When I was at Clark Central, we ran that.
It's kind of like a 50.
Yeah.
Got the zip, the nose, right in the middle two tackles and two defensive ends.
You look at all the custis in the backfield Montreal, custis and his cousin's treyvion and Michel going up top and to bury his Peterson, the tight end cannot hold onto it and Montrell custis.
The Alabama commit separated him from the football.
Well, if to Barry's Peterson, doesn't get his hands on this, this is an interception here ball.
He did two bearings.
Does a good job of getting up under it, but look, he's come, that could have been interception.
Good job.
He has to make that catch.
Catch.
And a good job by Montrell, custis to slip in the back door and knock the ball away from Peterson here, actually just went right through Peterson's hands to be quite Frank.
So custis committed to Alabama in April, after back in November of a year ago, first committing to Kentucky, fourth down and tuckered going for it.
Fourth down and eight.
Rigby to Shelly.
And he dropped the ball on a tunnel screen.
He had some room.
Then that was a great disguise.
Just drops.
The ball looks again, takes his eye, off the ball.
You'll see him flashing looking upfield.
You always maybe a little bit behind them.
But if you can get his hands on these guys, been to catch him.
He's gotta catch that ball.
Yeah, beat us.
Gotta catch that one.
In the philosophy is when you're a wide receiver coach, you watch the ball all the way until Tuck it into your shoulder, you know, you tuck it up under your arm and watch it to the top.
I think there's a good chance if Shelli catches that ball he gets in the end zone.
I agree.
I agree.
He was gonna get there.
He was gonna turn the corner and get down that sideline.
So the ball goes over on Downs to Lovejoy Morris, gets the handoff.
And that's a first down for Lovejoy.
Kevin Morris Off to the Races and Morris pulled down.
Finally inside of Tucker territory by Elijah, Sullivan 28-yard.
Gain for Kevin Morris.
Got to Tennessee, commit Preston, Williams running from the quarterback position running the spread a little bit.
So, you know what's coming eventually?
Take it inside.
I take it to the outside.
Quintarius, Neely back in there at quarterback and Morris who just broke off that 28-yard run on the Zone, read gets the handoff man and he got hit hard by shuttle bond in the backfield.
Quit, quit tavius.
Nearly look like number 52, quarterback.
He held it too long.
He's holding it too long.
Hold it.
Hold it.
Hold it.
Hold it.
Got to make that decision.
Remember the name of number 35 Monticello labonne.
He is a 6-foot 225 pound sophomore monster.
He's upside is Big the charts off.
The Richter.
Scale like his body.
Big second down and long now.
Oh man.
There you go.
Again, Anton Coleman.
Another big-play, just recovered a fumble in the past series and a big drop for loss right there.
They're descending again this in the kitchen sink.
They have testing and six guys every time they're sending six Defenders, Tucker is every time because right now, Lovejoy hasn't shown the ability to stop any of these as I called him earlier.
The mole blitzers, you got to figure it out.
But at this point, we're not gonna call him a mole because they're all coming and you know, they're coming you can see it's already set up.
Anton Coleman was there player of the game last week in there fifty five to nothing route of Alcove e Third and 18.
Now, inside the final minute up top for Preston Williams and Duke Shelly running through step-by-step whipping, and it's going to be fourth down and see what they do.
Is, they'll probably 16 blitzers again.
Six glitches again, didn't have any time to throw the ball.
Couldn't take Kentavious.
Neely has no time.
So we had to throw it early.
And guess what?
Also, good job by Duke.
Shelly plan.
Titan put, I mean taking that space up between them in Preston Williams.
Yeah.
Right here.
Everybody's going to come with.
They're all coming here.
They don't believe they can block them.
So what's going to happen?
Run the tape?
They're all coming.
Uncle Mom, Dad, everybody's coming to dinner.
They weren't invited along with the refrigerator and the kitchen sink.
All right, Justin Williams, high kick Shelly makes it over the shoulder at the 16 17 yard line, 41 seconds or thereabouts to go in the quarter and Tucker goes back on offense, after a 30 yard kick by Preston Williams.
So Duke Shelley has been tested twice with Preston Williams.
He's 2 and 0 right now.
Soccer with 101 yards of total offense, and Lovejoy was only 14 here on this Halloween night.
Then all treats for Tucker and all tricks.
Patrick's, you know, the kind that you don't like, I tell you this, that Lovejoy defensive line, they would have have a few tricks up their sleeve here because they're going to be tested Delvin.
Weems gets the handoff and Weems picks up about.
Three yards to the 20-yard line, Jonathan Thomas in.
On that tackle.
Fourth tackle of the ball game already for the linebacker.
Jonathan Thomas.
It's good work by Jonathan Thomas.
It's got a bow, your neck.
So, you know, Lovejoy, you down 14, just got to play good defense.
You can't go down, 21.
Probably the final play of the first quarter right here.
Broadwater gets the handoff man, Broadwater lowered his shoulder and ran over Jonathan Thomas that time.
On the final play of the first quarter bruising run by the Bruiser Nick, Broadwater, and a bruising first quarter for the Tucker, Tigers Duke Shelley, the interception and Tucker has turned the turnovers into 14 points.

It's a Spooky Night here celebrating Halloween while we're celebrating football.
The Tucker tigers are leading 14 to nothing over the Wildcats heading into the second quarter.
Now one thing we love about covering Georgia, high school football is watching, worthy Elite Talent, goes on to play at the next level.
Levels.
And that's where you come in tonight.

Back to you.
Matt.
Thanks Grace.
Third down and four for Tucker ball.
Is at the 22-yard line a bunch of players from both.
These teams have gone on to play in the National Football League and whoa.
You tell you about all of them before the night is through.
That's Duke Shelly on the run from the tailback position Duke Shelly, getting the pitch and he picks up the first down at the 31 yard line toss, sweep into the trips.
Nice blocking here.
Good job getting downhill, Duke Shelly, stand on his feet.
First down 15th.
Carry at the season for Duke Shelly, about 250 yards.
He averages 17 yards every time he touches the ball from the backfield.
Can you say Closer Brian Lamar.
Paid him.
Perhaps the biggest compliment you could pay him when he compared him to Asher.
Alan.
That's Broadwater and Broadwater.
Not a whole lot of running room that time believed.
That was Tori and Bell the 510 325 pound.
Senior defensive tackle not been watching tour and run to the ball and the I just know it.
Stood out that young man can run.
He's a big boy.
But he is running, nice job striking the block and get it off the block, as what's the foundation of playing deal on the state, showing him, some interest in the recruiting World.
Second down, now hand off to Brian on a delay.
Brian time to get to 13 -under.
Wow.
What a tackle out there.
That was a nice Tackle by Tyson Bettis, the cornerback.
Goes by our guy torian belgae.
I think touring dies out and didn't get it trips him a little bit.
He might have hit a shoestring and quite get it, but nonetheless, a made him have to take the wider angle, but it's a big play right here, third down and four ball at the 37.
Tucker's scored.
The first two times, they touch the ball, and have a 14 to nothing lead on Lovejoy here in the region.
2 6, a championship.
Rheems, Chauncey Jackson got some penetration there, made that tackle.
And kept Wayne's from getting the first down.
Yeah.
What you see Tucker they are there and unbalanced are putting everybody except the two tackles on the left, side of tackle and the guard, they want an unbalanced formation, great adjustment that time by the Lovejoy defense and anytime you go get an unbalanced offense.
You gotta slide over and you gotta get Numbers.
That's the sign of a well coach defense.
Joshua van The Freshman standing, at the 22-yard line to kick for Tucker fan.
A line drive.
Kick, Preston Williams takes it at the 28 Williams gets about a seven yard return after a 35-yard kick and Lovejoy will go on offense for the first time here in the second quarter from their 36 yard line.
Check in with John Nelson on the sideline.
All right, let's start things off with region one and see how it's acting.
So far Colquitt County cruising after a bit of a close call early.
It's 6:40.
They're leading at Roadie field that is in the second quarter.
Valdosta right now second in the ladder scoreless right now early on in the winters Ville classic, the other game of the board, Lee County beating Camden 13:7 in the second Camden still over the region.
Rico Tilly on the carry.
Until he picks up about two and a half.
Three yards on the play.
DeMarco der, making the tackle from his Pony position, basically kind of a strong safety.
It's a hybrid, like a linebacker / safety.
And usually those guys grow to be will linebackers little weight on.
I like I love the scheme that they run at 335 snipe.
Nice job by Lamar been highly.
Successful for Tucker and right there.
The ball is out and Neely, the quarterback gets on top of it.
After Morris was tackled by Maurice Williams, lost the football.
Penetration penetration simple, as that.
There's no other way to put it.
Good job.
Again.
That time Maurice Williams coming in.
He's Relentless.
That's how he described had three sacks versus Booker.
T, senior.
I mean, they're bringing, we talked about, we make it a joke about the kitchen sink and of lynching out.
We talked about, you just gotta figure out where they're going to bring the ponies.
And that time bringing the safety.
You gotta just it's a defense that that wants to send pressure, but you gotta just know where it's coming from.
Down in Long.
Now, for Lovejoy, Neely to the air and nice catch by Preston Williams.
Let's see that he get enough for the first down.
I believe he got far enough Savvy catch by Preston Williams, his first of the night Chuck, but he knew where the sticks were turned around and made the catch for the first out.
Yeah, a nice throw and catch the quarterback, Quinn, tavius.
Nearly number five, sets, his feet and gets to me.
Excellent job, excellent job by pressing the Williams and that's what you mean.
When things aren't going your way.
You play makers have to step up.
Thirty fourth catch of the season for Preston Williams, and it's good for a first down.
He reminds me of Tennessee's former receiver.
Justin Hunter.
It's just like him.
No Running Room for Tilly.
Elijah Sullivan making his second tackle of the ball game.
Sullivan's, a good-looking linebackers, 61 210, senior runs a 45 640.
He's put on 20 pounds in Grown two inches, since his Junior season.
Headed to Auburn Auburn, has got a good one there.
Got a good one.
They Envision him playing the star position that Justin Garrett, the former Tucker tiger played.
Of course Garrett.
Now playing a linebacker.
That star position kind of a hybrid safety linebacker position that has worked so well for Auburn, Neely back to pass and that's complete.
The Chauncey Jackson Jackson running hard over there on the sideline, picks up about five on the planes.
Going to be third and medium now.
Well good design on that swing screen.
It gets you a couple, but it gets you in a man.
A manageable situation.
Matt.
You want to have We're here about third and six somewhere in there.
But that's a manageable.
You want to short throw because Tucker is going to Blitz that.
That's there.
What they've been doing.
That's their MO this entire game.
So you gotta anticipate that if you're the Lovejoy offense, That was the 10th catch of the season for Jackson who plays that HVAC position that you were talking about earlier Chuck that they installed into the offense this year to try to make them a better running team.
That was Aaron Miller on the carry in the tackle made by Jonathan Ledbetter.
And now it's going to be fourth down and about to and Chuck.
If I'm Edgar Carson, I'm going for you.
Yeah, I'm going for it to and but what I'm doing here, I'm playing a little big boy ball.
I'm not putting with so many receivers out because what I've seen I've gotten the tendency now any time Lovejoy goes, four wide receivers out instantly.
Brian Lamar, they're sending six blitzer's every time after them.
So it's smart here.
Now, I got to play it honest.
Well time out, Edgar Carson did not like what he saw from his team as they broke the Huddle and he burns a timeout right here.
Take a look at the prospects lining up tonight.
First for the Lovejoy, Wildcats at 6 and 2 and 3 and 0 in Region 2 6, a course, Preston Williams.
We have talked about committed to Tennessee Montrell, custis, who's committed to Auburn his brother.
Michel is just a sophomore and he's already been offered by NC State.
Now.
Let me correct that Michel is Montreal's, cousin treyvion is me.
Giles brother and Montreal's brother is Zion and they'll be a test on this.
At the end of the wall again, remain Dillard's got an offer from Indiana and Kevin.
Maurice.
Strong has been offered by Georgia State.
Tucker tiger prospects, Jonathan Ledbetter committed to Georgia, Duke Shelley committed to Kansas State, to bury his Peterson, to Junior drawing interest from Florida State.
He's really just getting started in the recruiting process.
Elijah Sullivan committed to Auburn Delvin.
Weems committed to Marshall, and Maurice Williams has been offered by Troy.
One of the all-time greats in Auburn Tigers history.
Brandon Lang ended up playing at Troy first, time with Georgia played at Troy now playing in the Canadian Football League with the Ottawa.
Rough Riders on fourth down.
They give it a big chug.
See, Jackson and Chuck.
He moves the pile and picks up the first down.
Yeah, he didn't.
And that's what you want.
What a coach tell us this week.
What did coach Ed Carson say, we've changed our offense a little bit so we can play.
A big boy ball and this is what they want to be able to put an HVAC in and run with two tight ends work that time.
Uh, did just the second carry of the season for the big 59 215-pound, fireplug, senior Chauncy Jackson.
He looks like a fire hydrant.
That is thick right there yet is because I thought, wow, that was some kind of collision right there.
Maurice Williams and Chauncey Jackson.
Look like he gave him the gator, Chomp, or something.
Penetration again.
Maurice Williams, he's bawling man, and Maurice volumes of bring It now.
Watch Maurice Williams here.
The end of the play, gives the solute not ever want to see.
That was just like, there you go.
That's kind of the Gator.
Chomp right there.
It's got too many celebrations.
You gotta get one celebration.
Get back to the Huddle, March.
Come on, gotta work.
Gotta nail it down.
Trim it down to just one second, down, and nine.
Now, for Lovejoy.
Blackout Neely off the hands of Williams and nearly caught by Brandon Knight.
Who was behind the play, will check the flag here as well.
First time that you see Lovejoy caught Tucker off guard.
Look, they couldn't press them because they were had two tight ends and they were had what two receivers out, kind of countered, what you've seen, that culture has been doing for pressures that The Klein third down so Tucker.
As you hear declined, the illegal formation penalty.
Bringing up a third down and nine, but they had to do something shut the slow down.
This Tucker pass rush that has 27 and a half sacks in eight games.
Yeah, and what you see is a tendency that you're starting to see now anytime this Lovejoy team spreads the receivers out of you see three receivers to any side instantly, Brian Lamar that Tucker defense, they're going to send pressure.
Instantly.
Third down and long, heavy Rush.
Neely being chased and he´s going to be dropped at the 40-yard line.
Again.
Maurice Williams, third tackle of the half for Maurice Williams came in with a team-leading, 38 leads the team, with eight sacks and leads the team with eight tackles for loss.
This this guy's playing like, a Tasmanian devil.
Maurice Williams is getting after it.
Look to borrow his Peterson.
They're all getting after it.
Good job.
They're moving quicker.
Just seems right.
Now that Tucker is a step quicker.
You know what I mean?
Are getting off the blocks a little quicker and I'm gonna just tell you Maris Williams.
He's Relentless, you coach describe, him says he has a great motors with Brian Lamar.
That's how he described.
His plant, just has not, they have not been able to block.
Maurice Williams coming off the edge, good-looking 6-foot 230 pounds, senior Preston Williams, with time to punt, good.
Hike it fair catch hits off the top of the Lovejoy Defender, bounced.
Right off the helmet of Brandon.
Blake tried doing that again.
You couldn't try that or you couldn't do that again in a million years.
If you try but comes down right on the head of number 47.
Brandon Blake.
Where is it?
There?
It is.
Heads up.
The new College Football Hall of Fame and Chick-fil-A Fan Experience puts fans closer to the game experience.
Featuring over 30,000 square feet of college football interactive exhibits tickets available at CFB Hall.com.
Halloween night here in Hampton, Georgia.
Ninth-ranked Tucker, Tigers leading, the Lovejoy Wildcats 14 and upping in the region, 2, 6, a championship game.
The one common denominator in Tucker's great history of high school football has been their line of succession in coaches.
You see Brian Lamar in his third season at thirty and six but Terry Hodges LED them to the 1963 state finals.
And from there.
Look at the line of coaches.
They've had their team McFerrin.
Floor.
Keith Maloof who's now at Norcross.
Phil Lindsay, built Ballard.
Franklin Stevens, LED them to two state championships and now Bryan Lamar who got them to the state finals.
A year ago before they lost a Creekside.
Great legacy.
Great history.
Coach Lamar is on a great job carrying on the tradition of the great.
Coaches course, Lamar played at Tucker under Keith my Loop and then went on to play his college ball at Chattanooga up, top.
They go for Cortland Rogers.
That was Tyson, Bettis running with him, step for step.
Well, he's running with him step for Step at that point.
Now, Courtland Roger.
He showed some speed then that was underthrown.
That ball was simply under groans, got, hey, and look, he throws his ball.
He's just Starla.
He's great.
Go by him.
He turned that ball is underthrown.
He throws that ball.
If he gets the ball, throat thrown to the inside shoulder Portland, Rogers puts it out there live for they could have made that play but good job by the defense.
Nonetheless in Cortland.
Rogers is a big wide.
Over at 64 210 pounds of senior problem for Courtland is in this Wing T offense.
They just don't throw the ball very much.
He has only five catches kind of reminds me of the situation with Robert Davis.
The wide receiver at Georgia State when he was at Northside High School and he's a big kid, 63-64 wide receiver at Northside.
He only had 11 catches his whole senior year.
So it takes a coaching staff.
That's able to look beyond the production on the field and notice a guy that can play at the next level and now and days.
The good thing about the A recruiting is now they're all kind of camps there.
You know, you got the videos of his highlights, but also, you know, good coaches will find a player know how to mold him even with their an offense.
That's not traditionally a throwing offense because that's just look here locally.
When we're just talking about Georgia, Tech thinking, somebody receivers that Georgia Tech's develop here.
I mean, even with within an office that doesn't traditionally, throw the ball as much.
But Courtland Rogers.
What I just saw just now on that plate, I saw afterburners and I saw A guy that does has some turnover and has some potential Brian Lamar upset after an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty on Tucker, puts the ball back at the 11th and the play gets blown again blown dead.
Again, snap false start false start on Tucker.
The Gremlins are out is Halloween now.
It seems to only be affecting teams when they're moving from left to right.
So it's this end of the football wild that must be cursed.
Maybe an Indian burial ground or something?
Exactly.
Looks like lovejoy's figured it out a little bit.
When it comes to defense, they've kept their composure.
They still at 14.
Now.
They control the field position.
This is a big series again.
If you've been out trick-or- treating with the kids, Tucker scored on their very first two possessions for their 14 to nothing lead.
William slips out of one, tackle breaks to others and waves.
Still on his feet, big strong, run by Delvin.
Weans the Marshall commit, picking up, 20 yards on the play.
Well, we talked about this offensive line with Scrappy and they get after it.
Good job by Wings.
Just breaking tackles.
Breaking tackles, that's called effort.
You're rewarded.
When you get great effort.
That's what happened to Deborah Wing.
Now on the other end of the spectrum, Lovejoy missed three, tackles by just arm, tackling that you lock them up, move your feet and she would have ran that far Weems with 40 yards tonight.
777 on the season.
No Running Room that time.
Same play came back with a power.
I was a power play to the right.
Excellent job by Lovejoy.
Stepping up playing playing the blocks inside striking blocks and getting off blocks by the defensive line.
Nice work by Randy Robin's.
Number 51.
Randy Robinson goes both ways.
Starting center and starting nose guard, fourth down and five Preston Williams standing back at the 44 yard line, and Joshua van standing at his eleven, to kick under two and a half minutes to play in the half.
Ban, this is returnable for Preston Williams.
This should be fun from the 37th in nice.
Open field Tackle by the Tucker, tigers on special team coverage, Matthew Williams making that tackle for Tucker to drop Preston Williams after a 37 yard kick by Joshua van, but if you like one guy going to give us eight Rich, great coverage by Tucker, smart, by Preston, Williams getting down, no action there.
No action.
So let's see if the Lovejoy Wildcats a high-powered offense.
That's been averaging 35 points per game but thus, far, shut out here in the first half as they take over at their own 39 yard line into 17 to play in the quarter.
Screenplay goes for a first down.
As Aaron Miller makes the credit, makes the grab the catch.
And Maurice Williams makes the tackle after a 15 yard pickup, nice play.
Nice.
Swing spring.
Nice block out there to didn't catch the number but nice clearing.
Blocked spring, Aaron Miller for the first down.
They are in Tucker territory.
Pass is thrown and incomplete.
Phil Rogers, the intended, target Rogers, the number two quarterback on this team plays wide receiver and less Neely can't go.
Here's the Duke Shelly.
Preston Williams matchup so far.
Preston Williams with zero catches.
Yeah, he's had a couple opportunities to had to drop a couple drops.
Good job by Duke.
They're both getting after each other.
Duke has won the battle so far.
Now they run a screen to Preston Williams.
And a nice tackle out there in the open field by Anton Coleman.
So finally they get the ball to Preston Williams, but he can't go anywhere with it.
Yeah, that's a Playmakers play.
They threw and he's got to try to make something happen, but it's Tucker defense.
They're swarming.
He you just basically saw that the safety replace exactly.
The blocker came to block Duke Shelly in the safety replaced him to make that tackle.
Third down and eight, find the mole.
Where is it coming right up the middle.
That was Ledbetter.
Pass incomplete and Preston Williams, perhaps a little bit distracted right there.
Lets it go through his hands.
He's here.
He's playing them inside out to take away the slant route.
He runs a simple curl route tries to catch it with his body.
All is when they catch it with the hands, got some frustration going on right there with Preston Williams.
Now, watch up the Middle.
Look at number nine.
Jonathan Ledbetter with the bulrush right up.
The middle Leadbetter Ledbetter is A defensive end at the next level, but he plays on the nose here in high school and Williams.
They get the snap bouncing.
Back to Williams, end-over- end kick fair, catch called for by Shelley at the 14, yard line, 32 yard kicks of Tucker goes back on offense, with 1:15 to play in the half.
They have simply frustrated the Lovejoy offense.
They have taken to this point Preston Williams out of the ball game Chuck.
Yeah, they have taken pressing out of the Ballgame.
And that's what they wanted to do.
That they're playing man would and there's rolling the coverage over top of them.
So it's Duke's.
Going to have helped over top with the safety and he's state plan inside, out to take away the slant.
So, you know, it's tough.
That's why the other players have to step up and that's the key press, the Williams can't It by himself, but he can help himself by catching some of those passes.
Broadwater.
Right up the middle.
Big gash in.
Run by Nick.
Broadwater out to the 25 yard line.
As he picks up a first down.
That'll stop the clock to move.
The chains.
Just watch here.
Just watch these offensive guard here blocking.
Watch everybody, watched.
It blocks, watch this movement inside and watch him.
Come back side here guys.
And watch how quick this happens.
Inside.
Excellent job by the quick guards, in this Wing T offense and want to reiterate handoff.
Brian trying to turn the edge and Bryant not going to get there.
Nice hit.
Who's that?
Treyvion custis, that is Michelle's brother and Montreal's cousin.
Don't you know?
Yeah, but come the custis family.
Lovejoy.
Everybody knows about them.
So the percentages say in that defensive backfield three or four or more stars.
That's right.
You just say, custis, you're gonna have to 75% chance to get it right.
Second down.
Now, clock stopped with 49 seconds to play in the half.
Let's see if Tucker takes a shot downfield.
They've already hit for a 65 yard, bomb from rigged.
The tombs on their very first Blood.
People on the ground and we black out.
Levin hats on the ball means 11, guys, running to the ball.
Good job by Lovejoy.
They've really kept their composure.
They're out there battling and that's what you got to have the offense.
Right now.
It's tough.
Sledding is they say gotta do defense has to hold you in it.
And that's part of what they understood that with might need to happen today said, you know what, when we talked to Ed Carson, Ryan Lamar's Tucker Tigers trying to snap lovejoy's.
36 game region winning streak last.
36, haven't haven't lost since 2009 in the region.
Of course, Tucker hasn't been in the region until this year's that's true.
That changes the Dynamics of the situation quite a bit here in Region 2 that add a little spice to the Rivalry next year.
They're able to pull it off.
Yeah, just the second time.
Lovejoy and Tucker of ever played.
The only other time was the 2011 state championship game.
When Tucker won their second state championship beating, the Wildcats 6:38 the next year, Lovejoy would make it back to the state championship game and lose the Norcross.
2114.
Probably the final play of the half right here on second down and long.
We will some blockers Broadwater out there blocking for them.
Not the final play because he got out of Bounds at the 22 yard line with eight seconds to play in the half.
It'll be interesting what he calls here at most likely is going to because the defense has done so well, the basic running play but probably run would be surprised if they wanted to the left to get in spaces.
See if one of those big time Runners baby.
Weems can take one to the house, really smart nut.
You can't give up any kind of long cheap throw here.
If you're the Lovejoy defense, that's what their defensive coordinators thinking.
Now.
Nothing over your head.
Let's just get out of this half down.
14 to 0.
Tucker, in the middle of a six-game winning streak, since opening the season with losses to Norcross and Booker T, Washington, they've outscored their opponents 359 227 during the six-game winning streak.
And in all six games Chuck, they've gone over 50 points.
Don't know.
They're going to do that here tonight.
They got a 14 to nothing.
Lead late here in the second quarter.
Stop.
The drop is an initiative dedicated to preventing High School.
Dropouts.
We've asked students to do.
Their part by finding out how the problem affects their community and preparing a 30 second.
PSA that's public service announcement.
That tells us all about it.
The best PSA wins.
A 25 hundred dollar scholarship.
Find out more at gpb.org /.
Stop Dash the dash drop.
Tucker trying to stop the region, winning streak for Lovejoy and halfway to doing it.
Of course.
This game has such great significance because you win the region title here tonight.
That means you've got home field advantage for the first, two rounds, at least in the state playoffs and maybe the quarterfinals.
And maybe the semifinals, you might not have to leave home at all, unless you get to the Georgia Dome and your for that forever, the region Champs.
We brought water blocking for him and wings on the final play of the half, picks up about eight on the play.
And the Tucker Tigers will head to the locker room with a 14 to nothing lead.
Gunning for their 16th region title and their ninth and 14 seasons and they are two quarters away from doing it.
Tigers scored on their very first two possessions on the very first play from scrimmage, a 65 yard bomb from Rigby the tombs after an interception by Shelley.
And then after a great punt return by Shelley and a penalty.
Tucker went 21 yards capped by a three yard touchdown run by Weems as we check in with Jon Nelson along with head.
Coach Brian Lamar.
Thank you Matt.
You're walking over here.
And you did one of those.
It's been one of those halves.
Yeah.
Has less some opportunities.
Only feel hate to do that.
No, did some good things defensively.
Got some good stops, and, you know, we know that 14 points and I can be enough to win this ballgame.
So now the come out and get some stuff going in the second half.
I was gonna say, you came out, you hit them in the mouth, pretty hard and then the weather took over and then it was another aspect is a whole bunch of things.
You've been battling here.
Yeah, and we just got it, we bound execution.
So we got also, you know, do a better job and they are great football team defensively, very physical.
Very stronger, front, giving us some problem.
You got to do a better job maintaining blocks and try to finish out the game here.
Thanks Ryan.
Hi, buddy.
That's it for Brian Lamar.
Oh Tucker.
He's up by 14.
Let's send it over to Mark and Claire.
All right, John Nelson.
Thank you very much.

And earlier.
We showed some of your football players, some of their favorite Halloween costumes.
They were when they were younger.
We saw Elmo.
We saw skeletons.
We saw everything.
What was your favorite Halloween costume?
You're when you're a little.
Um, it would have to be Pinocchio.
My mom used to dress me up in it.
When I was younger lat.

Sounds great.
Now, this time to play the game as I get the question from Hello Kitty this week.
All right, here's the question and I believe it is Halloween based.
The first jack, o lanterns were not carved from pumpkins, you know, which fruit or vegetable was originally used.
Was it a a button?
Nut squash.
Was it be a turnip?
That'd be a really tough carving job.
See, oranges and other tough carvings up for defects of cabbage.
I probably said, do you hear some cabbage?
All right, was it head of cabbage?
It was turnips.
Wow, turnips.
Well, I guess I'm the first one in this.
They know you're not the first time.
This was, I missed it, too.
Thanks for hanging out with us.
Appreciate.
All right, I'll send it back over to the set.
John you let him down the wrong path.
You told them tournaments was ridiculous and it was the right.
Yeah.
Well that just shows.
Much, John.
I think that's bad on John.

But first, we're going to see.

John Nelson is standing by with the Lovejoy principal.
Mr. Colbert John.
What?
And why you want to go to 42 and mrs. Huh?
Okay.
Let's see if we can do that.
All right.
Well, thanks for having us, first and foremost.
What's going on these days here on campus.
It's working hard.
This time to prepare two keys to be college and career-ready, you know each year brings on a different Challenge and this year as you know, the state is going to a more rigorous assessment.
So We're just working hard to prepare the kids to be successful in the spring, with testing and, and hopefully get these scenes ready for college or careers.
All right, it is time to see if we can go to for to unintentionally.
Of course.
We have our second question from Hello, Kitty.
I have here, the question these pairs of famous people share a birthday.
But which pair shares a birthday on October.
31st.
Is it a pro former President George W bush and rumbles of the Snus to Rome be Buddy, Hackett.
And Richard Gere.
I don't do Buddy, Hackett.
See jazz musician, Dizzy Gillespie, and public spectacle, Kim Kardashian or newsman, Dan, Rather and one-hit-wonder Vanilla Ice, which is it.
I'm going to say beat be.
Yes, Buddy, Hackett Richard Gere.
Oops.
It is Dan Rather and Vanilla Ice.
Oh, man.
We did go to, for to Claire.
How about that?
Thanks for playing.
Thank you.
Thank your head.
We went to 42 and I just hit place in the face with the card.
Let's send it back over to y'all.
You know, it's all sold, my brother, Kevin's birthday.
So happy birthday, my brother.
Kevin, who shares a birthday now with Dan Rather and Vanilla Ice, Ice Ice Baby, You Got Right time now to check out the scores from around the state, on our Georgia, EMC scoreboard.
And there's a lot of big scores to get to down south in region one 6A.
We start things off with Colquitt County.
Ranked.
Number one.
They are taking on Tift County.
They lead right now 6:40 in the second quarter.
Also, Dacula and Archer that game tied 1010 in the second quarter.
And that's a big wood Dacula undefeated right now.
Lowndes Trails Valdosta, Breda.
Zip, that game in the first that one always a classic it.
It is Lee County leading Camden County by a touchdown 22:13 in the second Milton, a touchdown better than Pope 6:46.
In the second.
We got in the kitchen, leading Harrison 723 in the second Sprayberry leading undefeated Cal 7-Zip that game in the first view for 28 to nothing over Madison County.
It is Peach County over Westside.
Make it seven is if both those teams are unbeaten right now and in another huge games GAC and love it.
No score in the second for complete, Georgia high school football scores, download the GPB sports app for your iPhone.
Or your iPad, go to the App Store.
It is absolutely free.
And that's the way we like.
Well, it is hard to believe, but there is just one week left in the regular season, then it's what a lot of us like to call the second season the postseason.
So let's take a look at this year's schedule brought to you by Georgia.
EMC.
It's the football Fridays in Georgia scheduled next week.
We are going to be heading to Gainesville at Flowery Branch.
It's going to be a big one between the red elephants, and the Falcons then.
After that, it is the playoffs.
We don't have that schedule yet.
We don't know who's going to make it but you will get to see every week a great game leading up to the state championships right here on GPB.
December 12th and 13th from the Georgia Dome.
Remember GPB is your home for high school sports because nobody does high school sports like gpv, nobody.
Nobody does nose High School sports.
Like why won't John Nelson here?
Jon Nelson.
Joins us for another edition of back, roads and back fields, brought to you by the Georgia cotton commission, the Natural Choice for, Georgia.
And John today, you have a Tory about the all-time all-time winningest.
Oh time in the state of Georgia, Larry Campbell.
And sometimes when it's time to go, you know, it's time to go.
We actually went to Lincolnton to catch up with Larry, Campbell to find out what life is like, on 17 Acres without football.
477 wins first year 1972, the only year the now-retired Larry Campbell had a losing season in Lincolnton, but for the 11 time, state champ, third winningest coach in US history.
They always say whoever they happen to be that you know, when it's time and he did but I don't know it just got to a point away.
I decided I didn't want to go through spring practice.
And if you don't want to go through spring practice, that is a key thing.
If you're not looking forward to Spring practice, you may not have time to get out and for the first time ever and I just want to not looking forward to Spring practice the team long time.
Defensive coordinator.
Kevin Banks has went through the standard Growing Pains, but are heading into this week's game with Aquinas at six and two Coach Campbell has faith in, what his Red Devils will be down the road under coach Kevin, as he's replacing Larry Legend.
We got a good football team, not great this year, but better.
Probably better than average and for shunting that antenna cry group that I was looking forward to coaching and he will turn things around Coach.
Campbell took, the Lincoln County coaching job, fresh out of school.
And on his way to his honeymoon.
There are a lot of coaches out there that would like to have this one on speed dial.
So let's take some advice to Heart.
What advice would you give the young up-and-coming head coaches?
So they can have the longevity in the success that you've had.
First of all, be yourself.
Don't try to be later, camo or Dan pitch, or Nick hotter, be yourself, be comfortable.
And, and the position yet, visit other programs as having success and try to stay up with what what's going on.
I've been civilian defensively and and go to the college's, the way you can, you know weekends and things when colleges accept you, they're so much easier than Adam what they used to.
They really welcome you to come visit him and And decide what's best for your program and live and die with it.
Right now, Lincoln County fighting Aquinas.
It is to nothing Aquinas in the first quarter.
And I know you and Larry go way back, lot of stories.
I mean, 477 wins.
That's something and we're going to have a lot more of the interview that we did.
It was a really extensive interview in his house and around the Campbell property.
We're going to post that on social media over the next couple of weeks.
It was great to catch up with Eric and all right, Jon Nelson, back, roads and back fields, brought to you by the Georgia cotton commission, the Natural Choice for Georgia, Claire.
Well, once again, And it is senior night here at Lovejoy tonight.
And so, who better to talk to than the parents of one of the senior football players.
Let's check in.
Now, with Grace Olson, who is standing by in a segment.
We call rent check.
That's right.
This is rent.
Check, where we check in with the parents of one of the athletes on the field tonight.
We've got Lynette and Clarence Jackson.
The parents of Chauncey Jackson who plays for Lovejoy and this is all about trivia.
We want to quiz you and see how well, you know, your son, but before we do that, let's Has him on TV, we've got three photos to when he was playing football.
One one who's playing baseball.
What an adorable kid.
You said his give three favorite sports.
How many supporters did he play?
Well, he tried to play everything.
He wanted to play everything but his favorites were football, basketball and baseball.
We had to limit them because he wanted to do everything.
What an athlete?
We've got there.
Ok. Now we only have time for one question each so Dad I'm gonna ask you first.
What's the favorite play of Chauncey's that he's made in his career.
I would say the Emil Lovejoy game.
When he drove in for the touchdown.
You got it, right?
You're there for all of them.
I'm sure.
And mom, who is Chauncey's biggest role model.
Oh brother.
Clarence Jackson.
He played for North Clayton in 2010, but on and off the field is brother.
All right, that's what he told me.
But I've got it right quickly.
Thank you so much for joining us on rent.
Check.
We're going to bring in your t-shirts real quick.
Football, Fridays in Georgia.
Show everyone.
Those t-shirts.

So I'm one of many nurses at Cigna with answers, anytime day, or night.
I'm Lauren, and I've got your back.
I'm not sick.
She's perfectly healthy, Cigna covers preventive, care that having your back.
Getting ready for the start of the third quarter, the 9th, right Tucker, Tigers leading to Lovejoy Wildcats 14 to nothing in the region, 2, 6, a championship game at stored along with Chuck Smith and shut.
One of the things we didn't talk about before the game is the Tucker defense, but they have really gotten after it in this context.
Well, I'm sure they were challenged all the talk about, you know, a big-time receiver and all the with everything that Lovejoy brings and them starting fast and they came right off the bat and really shut.
Is down.
Yeah.
This is a Lovejoy team that has scored 40 plus points, right?
And five out of eight games and they've got a bagel on the board right now.
Let's take a look back at the first half, highlights.
Very first play for Lovejoy.
They try to go to Preston Williams, Duke, Shelly wins the matchup.
Well, nice job.
Right here, by Duke, going to get into that, its highest point.
That's what you're supposed to do.
One up for Duke.
Very next play, Tucker Returns the favor this time though.
They connect is Garrett, Rigby goes 65 yards to Tyler Tunes.
Well, it was really the same philosophy.
We're gonna catch him, off -guard both kingdoms.
We're really, you know came out and try to hit deep past but on that time, it works for Tucker and after a great punt return by Shelley and a 15 -yard penalty at 21, yard Drive capped on the 3-yard touchdown, run by Delvin Weems the Marshal.
Commit with 63 yards, rushing here, in the first half.
Let's go down on the sideline.
John Nelson standing by with Edgar Carson.
Thanks, Matt.
Bit of an unfamiliar spot after the first 24 minutes.
What'd you talk about?
Well, we just talked about trying to hold on to the football, put a drive together and try to maybe try to stop them on offense.
And at the same time they're stopping Preston, you know, they're putting Shelly on everybody knew that was going to be the Marquee matchup.
Yeah it is.
We just got to find a way to get in the ball.
There you go.
Good luck man of few words, and he's got a lot of work to do here in the second half.
We'll send it back upstairs, finding a way to get Preston Williams.
The ball hat will be easier said, than done.
They tried some Wildcat and that hasn't worked, either Chuck as you take a look at the first half stats and doubled.
The total yards for Tucker and the two turnovers for Lovejoy, certainly didn't help.
In fact, the very first one was immediately cashed in for a touchdown by the Tigers.
Well, anytime you can hold, anybody to 85 yards and a half, particularly such an explosive offense as lovejoy's.
You've done a good job.
And you know, that's what you wanted to do on a road and a lot of times the great defense has, you know, you got to stand up on the road.
So they've done a good job.
So far has Tucker against this explosive Lovejoy.
You know, another big number is the third down conversions Lovejoy do 45 on their third Downs.
That's because they've been in third and long's the entire game.
And they've also, they haven't picked up the mold Blitzer, every time they've the quarterback has dropped back.
Nearly the quarterback for lovejoy's been in trouble.
So, you know, if you don't have time to throw you can't make those passes.
But 0 and 5 on third down, can you can't win like that if you can't convert third Downs, well here is Preston Williams.
Ready to kick off for Lovejoy and it's time for your Dot-com kickoff, learn a skill, build a career, do it.
Now at gobuildgeorgia.com Short, kick and Tucker finally gets on top of it at the 33 yard line.
Remember, when that ball goes 10 yards.
It is a live ball and Akeem.
Peters did get on top hook and Tucker will take over at their 34 yard line.
Well, I can't Peters huge play against.
You don't want to start off this half with the momentum change in here, but interesting kick right here, the balls very high.
And it lands he has an opportunity here to make that play.
Got to come down there and get on it.
I like to see what I would like to see here and see Lovejoy players flying around.
Like the hair is on fire.
Diving to get this ball up to me guys, standing around.
And number 37 brand like actually touched it joy and Peter's got on top of it.
So First, and Ten for Tucker from the 34.
And the play gets blown dead before they can run it, that was Elijah Sullivan lining up in the full-back position.
Getting his first Carry of the ball game.
Tell me, that's a big effect now, Sullivan, really Lamar says Sullivan's their best fullback.
They just don't use him.
They're very much because they like to save him for defense and it is well today.
Yeah, and, you know, Sullivan with two tackles there in the first half.
He'll stay in the Ballgame.
We'll see if he gets the ball.
Again, a year ago.
He rushed for right under 700 yards and 11, touchdowns only 188 yards and four touchdowns so far this season, so first and 15.
18 now ball at the 29 Bryant in motion hand off on the Trap two wings and he shot out of a cannon one man to beat and he will outrun Chauncey Jackson for a 71 yard touchdown, explosive explosive by Devin Williams coming out, man.
Looks like he was shot out of a cannon.
Delvin, weans with his 15th, touchdown of the season and his second of the night to put Tucker on top 22, nothing pending the p80.
So, Shakira is on for the p80.
After another one, play drive for Tucker.
The very first time they touch the ball in the spa.
All game 65 yards, Rigby to tombs the very first time after the penalty, the official first snap for them here in the third quarter, a 71 yard touchdown, run by Delvin.
Weems Shakir, good with the p80 21 to nothing.
Here is your tcsg touchdown, replay.
What you notice here is Delvin.
Weans is here to the This is a misdirection play all these offensive lineman.
They're gonna come.
They're going to go opposite direction.
He's going to come and find an open.
Seen directly inside the whole.
Everybody's going to the left.
He's coming back to the rice and misdirection play and that's what you want to do.
You want to get the entire defense running away from the direction that Delvin weans was coming.
I'm gonna just tell you this great call by offensive coordinator.
Todrick Malone from over at Tucker.
Nice job using the aggressiveness of lovejoy's defense against them and this is all just natural ability right here.
Just putting on the Jets Devin Wings, 11 carries and 134 yards.
Rushing.
Now for Williams tonight, to go along with those two touchdowns.
A year ago, Wings was a backup running back at Sandy Creek and still rushed for over Eleven.
Hundred yards as the number two back.
Well, he came to a place that they lie.
They run the ball.
He's going to get lots of carries.
And this Double Wing here.
This Double Wing of Tucker is legendary, but I'm gonna tell you all the time coordinator Todrick.
Malone is calling the heck of a game so far Williams from the 8 yard line.
Nothing doing for Williams Williams gets dropped in his tracks by DeMarco der Lovejoy.
Again, starts deep in their own territory.
And now they're down three touchdowns.
Well, the philosophy here is, you can stay in your offense right now, Matt, you want to stay at you.
If you're Lovejoy, stay in your office.
You still can run the ball, but eventually you're going to have to start getting the bigger chunks at some point, but you gotta, you can't just completely Put the quarterback back there and say it just wing it downfield.
This Tucker defense has shown to be too much upfront right now, for the offense of line of Lovejoy.
Quintarius, Neely only 5 of 10 for 37 yards, passing and an interception in the first half.
Aaron Miller gets the carry Miller had a 15 yard reception in that first half and Miller tackled by Anton Coleman after a pickup of about 45 yards on the play.
And unfortunately, Lee Chauncey Jackson is injured on the play and not getting up got a chance to visit with Chauncey Jackson's parents.
During our rent.
Check segmented halftime with Grace Olson.
What a sharp-looking kid.
He was playing Little League football and baseball.
Hopefully he's going to be okay here, right on senior night, the final home game of his regular season career.
Now, winner lose loser.
This ballgame still is likely going to finish.
Number two in this region.
And end up with a home Playoff round in the home, playoff game in the first round.
You see though?
Chauncey Jackson really having a hard time getting off the field right now and Jay Sean Grant.
The defensive tackle going to come out there and help his buddy get off the field.
Well, you hate to see that.
You know anytime you see particularly towards the end of the season is never time to get injured, but, you know, the playoffs are coming and everything, but you just hope that he's able to something that he can recover from Fast.
Well, we'll try to get an update on Chauncey Jackson.
Status as soon as possible.
Second down and five coming up with the ball at the 28.
I don't see Preston Williams on the field right now.
Keep her by Neely Naeli, gets around the corner and has a first down.
And Neely gets up close to the 45 yard line.
First time.
We've seen them get Neely out of the pocket and run something.
They've wanted to do a little bit more this season.
He picks up 20 right there quarterback keeper good job, keeping them here.
They were looking for the dive.
He ends up having a taking it to the outside and this is the longest run of the day.
I mean, this is Ben.
The most explosive place so far by this Lovejoy, offense Neely with 148 yards, rushing on the season, coming into the game and a four and a half yards per carry average Williams is back on the field and Erin Miller gets the carry Aaron Miller up across the 50 yard line and Miller down to the other 47 yard line.
He picked up about five on the play.
I like the way Miller's running here.
He breaks out a tube areas.
Peterson's tackle.
He's a little high good running right here.
Gets those shoulders down eyes up and protect himself.
Keep those legs and chugging interesting Miller, who's number three on the depth.
Chart has been the starting running back here to begin the second half with Tilly and Morris over on the bench.
Miller gets it again with a holder run through, but it closes very quickly man.
That that whole close very quickly with to bury us Peterson.
And Akeem Peters closing down the Gap, and look like there was a hole in there.
Wasn't one.
Well, it's good job by computers.
They call this bringing the wood bringing the lumber.
Feeling real confident Tucker.
Right now, third down yarn a half to go ball at the 44.
You get the feeling lovejoy's.
Got to put together a scoring drive here.
That's Preston Williams.
Split to the bottom of your screen.
Miller first down line.
So Miller moves the sticks that might have been their first third down, conversion of the night and it was comes on us.
It comes on a third and one and a half, you get a third, no one and a half Chuck, you can convert that.
You can't convert third 9.
Just a good point, man.
You talk about that.
You're owing.
Five at half time.
Converting on third down.
You can't you just can't win that way because you're not having a ball long enough.
Good job, though.
Let's check in with John Nelson.
On the sideline there.
You see the end result right here.
They're going just for a straight re-tape.
He was doing okay when it came to walking difficulty, when it came to doing the high step, run, Chuck, you know, when you're trying to test the mobility of your rifle, but right now, it looks like they're just going to try to tape it up a little harder because they know that they need him in this game.
So we'll see once the re -tape has happened.
Just how strong that ankles going to be.
Thanks.
Thanks.
John Chauncey Jackson.
He did convert their 1/4 down right when a big run in that first half.
Unfortunately for Lovejoy.
They still got no points out of that.
So, second down now putting together a pretty good drive here, really their best sustained Drive of the night thus far Neely to the air and it is caught but actually lost guards on the play.
On the completion to Brandon Knight.
They try to catch them off guard.
What a play.
To pass on a flat route and it would probably only gain one yard, even if even if he called it, you know what?
We talked about Preston Williams.
He hadn't been in the game.
Still looking.
Okay.
He's back out there now.
Yep.
I gotta find a way to get him involved.
I don't know whether it's Wildcat.
Run a speed sweep or something.
They've got to find a way to get him the ball and they have not been able to do that yet.
And number four, Duke Shelly has been his shadow and is again you see Shelly lined up across from him out.
Out there and Williams of split to the top of your screen.
Third down and long.
They're going his way.
They throw it up for grabs.
He gets the better of it that time.
What A Catch by Preston Williams at the 14.
Yard line comes up a little lip.
Nice job.
That was a fade route.
They were just throwing it up to him.
Go make this play.
He does a good job.
Just get straight up field and throwing it.
Just go get it.
That's all I'm saying is go get excellent job.
Great body control, great coverage.
About meta Knights nice throwing out when to wake and make that play.
You see Williams limped to the sideline after that, 24 yard catch.
And that's what you got to do.
Williams is 65, Shelly is 510.
You got to take advantage of that if you can ball is out.
It's recovered by Tucker.
Anton Coleman with the hit that separated the ball and I believed it was Brian, strozier the linebacker who ended up with it.
Now the all just popped out.
No, no, it didn't just pop that it got popped out.
You're right.
I was right the first time.
It looks like they had a defensive pressure on again, slant and coming inside.
He beats him in he slices inside Anton Coleman puts that body on them.
Nice tackle.
But those are those are mistakes that happen when you get down towards your with an opportunity to score a touchdown.
That's the second forced, fumble and Recovery.
Tucker in this ball game.
So they have now forced three turnovers and interception and to fumble, recoveries.
The first is that a lot of false starts today.
Not as false starts dipping was Tavares King.
Number 75.
New starter this year on offensive line.
Looks like a cramp for Preston Williams.
Is there rubbing down as calf muscle.
Athletic play athletic.
Talk to John Nelson down there.
What do you got?
It is a massage job.
Initially.
Everyone was thinking it was the ankle on the landing, but it's turned out to be a cramp and they're trying to massage that thing as best.
They can.
I've seen about three sets of hands and count all the fingers.
So you're talking 15 or 20 fingers, have been trying to work.
Tap the second, he hit the sidelines and they figured it out Sam.
Brian told the carry not much doing following the five-yard Markoff.
So second down and long coming up for Tucker.
And you saw what happened.
They got the 24-yard play and immediately after Preston Williams comes off the field.
Bam.
They fumbled the ball now, not related, not physically, at least, but, you know, you gotta Wonder mentally, you know, your guy comes off the field, the immediately caught the ball up.
Well, those are things that are just fundamental football.
You got it.
Hold on.
The ball when you carry.
Duke Shelly, nice move Shelly.
Still on his feet.
Look at him.
He is something.
Shelly out to the 40-yard line.
That's a 30 yard game for Duke Shelly.
He is slippery at me.
Yeah, he is slippery and he is a playmaker.
And let me just tell you just I mean just you don't see this kind of talent very often.
Whoop.
Yeah.
Yeah, there's another whoop.
Going to Kansas State, you know, the only thing that probably keeps him from being in the SEC the cornerback and he's five-ten in the SEC these days.
You got to be six feet.
Probably to be a corner for at least five eleven other side.
They go and they overshoot a key Peters or at least they say that.
And then all of a sudden, you get a kid named Honey Badger that.
I just a little bit over.
What may be say?
59.
Yeah.
I'm not big on that night.
I understand if he was.
Five very, very, very shortly.
Come on.
He's a playmaker.
He's a guy that I believe has SEC talent and, you know, just, let's just see how this all plays out.
It'd be interesting to see if, you know, a team like the Georgia Bulldogs got in on him late.
They did that with Dominick Sanders last year and Sanders.
Now a freshman will be on the field for Georgia tomorrow when they play the Florida Gators.
That's what coach Lamar compared him to Brian Lamar said at this point in his career.
He's probably the a better player this point at this age.
Age Dominick Sanders played as a freshman at Georgia.
Weems can't turn the corner.
They run to the near side.
That time.
The short field, Jonathan Thomas with his team-leading seventh tackle of the night for Lovejoy.
Looks like they brought out the pickle juice to try to alleviate the cramps for Preston Williams.
She ever do pickle juice and never did pickle juice ever.
They say that John reports.
That Preston Williams did not enjoy the pickle juice, third down and 13.
Now, intercepted, intercepted by J's.
Sean, Grant.
Look at the big guy with the hands stepped in front of the tunnel screen and picked it off.
They're trying to go back to that screen here.
He does a good job.
Reading eyes, nice job, reading eyes, excellent work.
Good play.
And that's what they needed.
Now.
They got the ball.
They have an opportunity, there and plus field position with an opportunity to score.
How about that?
Second interception of the season?
For Jay, Sean Grand a 290 Pounds, senior defensive tackle leads.
This team in sacks leads them in tackles for loss and links the defensive lineman with to I like that big number 58 Jay, Sean Grant.
We talked about him being a playmaker early on.
We talked about, you got to get your Playmakers and make plays.
Now.
He gives his offense an opportunity for shorter field.
Let's check the flag here.
Herbert Phillips is our referee.
Play personal foul.
Foul on the defense, 15 yards on it from the other on first down.
So joy, and that's just stupid right there because you get a pic.
You got the ball inside the 25 and now you get a 15 yard Markoff against you, because you have an unsportsmanlike penalty.
I want to make a point that Garrett Rigby number 16, threw that interception in made that tackle.
One of the things as a quarterback you're told to do.
Now you can live to fight again here on defense and that was a when you look back that play might stand up as being one of the most important Place, definitely in the second half.
Well as you mention he does start at free safety and they actually feel like he's a better free safety being as a quarterback.
So when he threw the pic, he just played his natural position to made.
The tackle Neely going up top for Preston Williams.
Oh Man, what a one-handed.
Catch by Preston Williams.
That's a duh nuh.
Nuh nuh nuh nuh inside the 5 -yard line and he's coming up hobbled again.
More pickle juice, please.
This is the simple fade route.
Play action pass.
We're just throwing it up to him.
Fading.
It just go, get it one-handed snag.
Oh, oh man.
It's his ankle is not a cramp this time.
Twist his ankle.
Yeah, Duke Shelley came right down on top of that ankle.
He's probably done your, there's not enough tape to get right thing fixed for the rest of this night.
I'd be shocked if we see any more Preston Williams tonight, but that was one heck of a catch right there.
One word to describe this, catch nasty.
Just filthy a space and I know what you're thinking Shawn.
Yeah, that'll look good on Rocky, Top, do that.
I know not that ankle twist won't but that was a heck of a one-armed one-handed catch.
He reminds me of Justin Hunter, the second round beat the same number, same body, same crazy, leaping ability.
He's at with the Tennessee Titans right now, kid out of Virginia was great, Tennessee, receiver, a few years ago, first and goal to go for Lovejoy and big Chauncey Jackson's back in there.
If the tape job was good, coach got me in the end zone.
Five yard touchdown run for Chauncey Jackson and Lovejoy.
Finally on the board with the fourth.
Touchdown run of the season for Jackson.
Dive play here.
Straight up, gives it to their HVAC runs.
The ball comes down hill.
Usually.
Nice job, right, downhill, gives it to him in between the tackles Big Boy ball and coach talked about, they want to have a power running game when they got a no situation.
Jose Perez on for the p80.
Sophomore.
Kicker.
And we'll have to wait to kick it, right?
They smash that pills, the climate the climate time now.
So, just two plays after the interception interception, rather by Jay Sean, Grant Lovejoy Cashes in on the turnover by getting six that kick was blocked.
So let's take a look at our tcsg touchdown replay as we go to break big old Chauncey Jackson, just had his ankle taped up and it was good enough to get him in the endzone for 6, Georgia, cotton Farmers.
Want you to know cotton is grown in 91, Georgia, counties on over 1 million Acres cotton makes a 2.5 billion dollar economic impact and accounts for over 15,000 jobs in Georgia.
Cotton's Innovative production.
Has lowered water use per pound of cotton by 75 percent.
Since nineteen.
Eighty one bale of cotton can make two hundred fifteen pairs of denim jeans or 700 towels.
Cotton is a natural choice for Georgia.

Welcome back to Twelve Oaks.
That is Preston Williams.
It is the knee.
That is bothering him from the catch that he made, its the knee and cramps.
And so what he has done is you see what he's done.
He has gone all the way to the locker room.
He tried to get some Mobility working and it wasn't.
So now he's trying water and he's headed back to the locker room.
When we know more, we will let you know but it's not looking good for the big Powerhouse at a Lovejoy, guys.
Well, you can.
Ellie's highly upset about it after he made that tremendous.
Catch the setup, lovejoy's first touchdown of the night.
He got hurt on that, play a 31-yard, catch down to the 5 yard line, and he leaves the game at least for the moment with 4 catches in 76 yards and has been a much bigger Factor here in the third quarter that I had been in the first half.
What are they throwing it up and let him go get it and that's really important.
That's, he's a playmaker.
But right now, someone else is gonna have to step up Courtland Rogers fields that kick.
Kick off a short kick that was tailing away from Jose Perez.
So Tucker will have the ball at the 42 yard line with five minutes to play in the third quarter.
Here's one more.
Look at Preston Williams and might have been as final play of the night right here.
Well, that was one kind of a catch right here.
The one-handed catch.
Now Watch What Happens.
Duke Shelly comes down on his right here?
Yeah, I'll that ankle rolls over that's ugly to.
I mean, it's literally On inside his ankle right here and he rolls it up and do plans on it.
As you can see right there, pulls him down and probably does a little little more to it.
So ball is Bobble and recovered by Sam.
Brian, who averted disaster right there.
Lovejoy nearly had it right back in the Bumble, right?
There is the kind of thing that can turn d game in your favor.
Now, Chuck, as you mentioned during the break, they did have that.
P80 blots.
It Lovejoy gets back.
Back in the Ballgame somewhere.
Along the way I can have to go for two and that was really significant Matt.
You said that and you know, they're going to eventually have to get a two-point conversion, but I'm kind of sensing a little momentum swing here.
Absolutely Pepin right now.
Lovejoy step Big Catch by Preston Williams.
A touchdown, the very first time Tucker snaps the ball.
They've nearly fumble, it Rigby rolling and throwing nearly intercepted and Tucker starting to turn the tide right here, Michel custis.
Sophomore corner with an offer.
From NC State, nearly had himself a pick, great job.
Great Break by me.
See how coming down by custis.
As you see here.
The ball comes out, maybe a little bit late with excellent job by me.
She Al custis on the brake number 22.
Now, this is not what Tucker likes to get into long.
Long yardage as you see, right here.
Rigby has thrown a pick.
And nearly threw a pick in consecutive pass attempts in a heavy rush and Rigby throws on the run off the hands of Peters and it's going to be fourth down and Tucker with a three and out right here and Lovejoy is going to get the love get the ball back late in the third quarter.
Well Lovejoy stays with that five-man Rush with their base front and does an excellent job getting up field and putting pressure on Garrett Rigby.
So Joshua van, let's see, Malik route with Preston Williams out of the ball game is going to be the punt, returner for Lovejoy back at the 35 -yard line.
Joshua van on a high snap and a heavy rush and they nearly got it Line Drive kick that Ruth backs away from and it takes a big bounce for Tucker and rolls dead at the 33 yard line.
Line that ends up being a 46 -yard kick and Van nearly had it blocked but he got it off and flips.
The field and Lovejoy will be back in their own end here late in the third quarter as we check in with John Nelson.
All right, guys, let's go back to the top of the order.
Start with region one.
Everything's now turning second, half Colquitt having no problems right now, with Tiff, that one is still in their hands at 9:31.
Also, the big surprise is probably Lee County leading Camden 3323 that.
I was in the third winners Ville classic tonight in Valdosta that ones tied at three heading to the third quarter Preston Williams back on the sidelines shoulder pads are off.
Well, that means in all likelihood.
He ain't coming back, Neely On The Run Ledbetter got him in his grasp and wouldn't let him go.
So not much doing right.
There is Ledbetter gets the tackle for Tucker.
And I think right now it's going to be a the office.
Grab it.
Throw the ball here.
Kentavious Neal.
He's gonna have to put the ball in the air.
They struggled on the ground and that you see the big play happen when they put the ball in the air.
So they're going to, they're going to win this game and extend their region championship streak to five and thirty seven consecutive.
They're going to have to do it without Preston Williams.
Apparently, who's on the sidelines now, but he's lost his gear.
Neely on the role and was a catch made at the 38th and complete Dillard.
The intended target.
I just don't see right now.
I'm as I'm observing, particularly the running game of love.
Joy.
I just don't see him in this game, you know, handling is defensive front of Tucker.
And when I got there and they haven't, they were running and that's why I figured it going to keep throwing a ball and Taking Chances.
Because at this point, that's where they've had their most success at nest, on the Rock throwing passes down field.
Neely is 8 of 14 for 95 yards in this game.
Neely averages.
40 in the air with 12 touchdowns and two interceptions.
Comes a blitz or from the field.
That's the Anton Coleman.
Coming Neely stands in there gets popped.
Got rid of it.
Khalil Rogers.
First down, catch Mana, Neely and Healy grabbing his knees right there, man.
He took a shot.
But give guy a Red Badge of Courage because he stood in there and took the punishment and got the ball downfield.
Man, he's still hurt.
As you know, there's gonna be a Blitzer coming out here and that's it's Anton Coleman.
He's coming off the corner.
Number 32, and he's comes unblocked and it hurt.
That's a nice pass by Neely to Rogers for a first down at the 45.
Zone read Miller runs into a brick wall named Brian Stroger and to bury his Peterson and Elijah Sullivan.
How about meeting those guys you talk about a nightmare as good team defense.
This is good team defense that offensive line has to get a little more push down that block a little longer at Lovejoy to skip this little longer, but the key here is going to be passed protection.
They're not going to run against love against this Tucker defense approaching.
Two minutes to play here in the third quarter Sullivan.
Now of five tackles tonight.
Second down and seven.
Nearly intercepted by Peters, tried to squeeze the ball into tight coverage to Rogers again.
Now, it's going to be third down and long Akeem.
Peters.
Just a junior.
They really like him a lot.
He's getting interest from duke and Georgia, Tech, good tight coverage.
Quarterbacks get the ball out of his hands quick now.
Peters has six interceptions.
Six of Tucker's.
Nine picks from the junior Pony.
Trips to the field here comes that pressure.
Here.
They come.
Neely going up top for Dillard, Dillo turns around and dropped it.
You know what they see now, Matt, anytime anytime they go trips to the field with four wives one to the short side as you see here, what's happening?
They're going to send pressure.
But guess what, Lovejoy realize that point we have man-to-man coverage.
As you can see here, they're going to come.
The blitz is coming.
They're going to send six here.
Good job by the safety, working.
Over the top.
They got man coverage will help over the top.
But that they only have time to throw fade routes any time they put any more than two receivers out.
Ball takes a roll after the kick by the backup punter.
Jaden Thomas with the pun, not an artistic fun, but it gets the job done and stuff going.
40 yards with the bounce and Tucker will take over deep in their own in with 97 seconds left in the third quarter.
There's Robbie Gilbert.
He is the offensive line coach for Tucker.
And what a week.
It has been for Robbie Gilbert as he met his birth mother.
For the first time in his life.
He was adopted at three days old and just this week after their last game against al Covey, had a reunions with his birth mother.
That's an amazing story.
It's a blessing.
There's a look and Robbie on the sidelines.
Had a chance to talk to him before the game about what an incredible experience, and his birth mother, now living in Kentucky, and he's gonna go visit her in the next couple of weeks.
Had a chance to talk to him.
He was really cool guy.
Really excited about the experience.
And, you know, it was something that he did not know, was ever going to happen.
He lost his mother, the woman who raised him, right, lost her a year ago, condolences to the family, but Doing his job up there in the box tonight.
Coaches, the offensive line here at Tucker and it's been a good offensive line for a number of years and doing a good job here tonight as well.
Yeah, they're doing a really good job.
They're quick.
They're aggressive their offensive guards.
We discussed earlier about their 187 pounds, and the guards are going to gets a middle.
32, average is 307 pounds on Lovejoy side and they've done an excellent job of the misdirection plays that are the staple of the wing is of this Double Wing T offense.
That Brian Lamar and Tucker likes to use and it's just, you got to have quick smaller guards, that can move around.
And he's done a great job.
Delvin Weems is being helped out.
Looks like he's got a cramp interesting that we've got, you know a number of cramps here tonight on what has been a rather cool night.
So it's a temperature is certainly in the 50s, if not cooler.
Yeah, right now it's 50 degrees.
But we've had, we've seen Delvin Weems with cramps.
We saw Preston Williams with cramps, and has been a windy night as a blustery.
When you see the wind just whipping straight down the field at winds blowing left to right.
So it's right at Tucker's back right now.
See if Weems can get back in there.
He's For over 130 yards here tonight.
137 on 14 carries with a couple of touchdowns.
So Duke Shelly gets a chance to take the Rock and Shelly man.
You got to get that guy on the ground.
Then the ball pops out at the end of the play called and finally out of bounds and I believe they called it dead already.
I mean Shelly will get to that sideline and well, let's see, is that Shelley?
Shelley?
He's not getting up.
Speed sweep here.
Good job by Lovejoy stringing it out.
Good job by does a good job, but just to get them down looks like he hurt his ankle, too.
Yeah, they're working on Shelly now looks like Shelly.
Looks like he got pulled down, maybe twist his ankle.
Wow, I could see it from way up here.
It looks like he got.
Looks like you got an ankle, maybe tweaked.
Also, how Halloween crazy and weird would that be, it would be to Shelly.
And Preston Williams, both end up leaving, this ballgame with injury, you can see the wind right there in the leaves, blowing off the trees and across the field.
They're looking at his left ankle right now, as we take a look at the next level, Legends for these two teams guys that have gone on to play college ball, Thomas Brown played at Georgia, running back for Tucker.
Now a coach at Wisconsin Jabari, Davis played there at Tennessee, Darius Swain at Georgia, Drayton Calhoun at LSU and the Middle Tennessee, Mario fan and remember him quarterback Garrett.
Love Mario went on down to Auburn Keith Fitzhugh, Mississippi State, Bulldogs were Right.
Number one, in the nation, back then, assign flakes played in Illinois.
Jeremy, Lomax George and Anthony Parker another Tennessee: T. Big Anthony Parker to go Joker.
Thank you for the coaching business.
I don't know where he's at now, but I know you're working to get into coaching business.
Of course, there are bunch of players from these two programs playing college ball as well and we'll bring you up to date on those guys over the course of the evening as well as duke Shelly, have it.
Be helped off the field.
Three carries 58 yards tonight, and he's having to be carried, literally off the field.
That's not a good sign.
So Preston Williams leaves the game and now Duke Shelley leaves, the gate.
Wow.
Yeah, gets rolled up.
I think, you know, we'll see that.
I'm sure here in a second.
But Chuck you brought up an interesting point.
This is the next to last game of the regular season, right?
You never want to be hurt, but you don't want to be hurt right before the Playoff starts.
You'll see him, right?
Not yet.
He's going to break this one when it gets bright.
Hold on here, right here.
He gets pulled down.
Watches.
Ankle.
Ooh, it's almost the exact same thing that happened.
I'm worried.
I hope you didn't break it.
Yeah, almost the exact same thing that happened to Preston Williams, but maybe even more, severe that look more severe than what Preston Williams had.
I'm praying for both of those young men.
So First and Ten, Lied to Sullivan on the carry Sullivan.
He is a horse, picks up the first down, up to the 44, yard line, 15 yard pickup for Elijah's Sullivan on his first Carry of the night.
First official carry the night.
Had won a race by penalty earlier that I play in the third quarter to simple trap Dive Right here, but what I like is he reminds me of his little league Legend.
We had growing up called the freight train.
It wasn't called.
He had the biggest legs, the What if you could not pull him down?
I'm telling you that one Elijah's element.
That always remind me this Legend.
If you like ten players on the freight trains back trying to bring him down and into the fourth quarter in Hampton with Tucker, on top of Lovejoy.
5:39 this moment getting here, took three years of sleepless nights and postponed vacations.
Your dad said, play it safe.
Your husband kept the faith.
But franchising is, why you partnered with regions.

But a quiet movement is growing a campaign to see every class graduate intact.
The answer is out there.
Now.
Will you stop?
The drop is a gpb.org/ sports, the drop for more information?
First Preston Williams and now.
Duke Shelley on the sidelines with leg injuries as we start.
This fourth quarter before we do.
Let's head down to the sideline and Grace Olson.
Thank you time.
For one of the best parts of the night where we give you our trivia winner for the for the night.
Our question tonight, was what former Lovejoy running back went on to start at Georgia Tech and then was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys.
The answer is to Shard choice and our trivia winner for the night is meet Carter.
Answer the question on Facebook.
So I thank you everyone who participated on Facebook and on Twitter and guys you've been talking about the wind and the cold.
It is not playing around down here.
Surely the coldest game.
These guys have played so far this season back up to you Matt.
All right, bundle up and stay warm Grace as we take a look at our Lovejoy Ballers.
These are the guys that went on to play in the National Football League and look another Tennessee ball there, Chris Scott where everywhere and one offensive tackle little Steelers were to char Choice, the subject of our trivia question at Georgia Tech.
And then the Dallas Cowboys and then Tucker.
It's a big list.
Folks will do it in a minute.
It's such a big list will wait and give you some time to digest that when we bring it out Tucker they got to do some Talent now.
Well, I got three guys currently in the National Football League, and then a whole bunch of others who have played in it.
Play gets blown dead fault.
Start again on Tucker.
I bet you Tucker has at least over five or six false starts easy.
Easy.
We just talked about that.
Ben said themselves back.
That's why they haven't had the ability to really put up any more numbers in these.
You know, after the first quarter, here's a look at the Tucker.
Tigers were pro bowlers, Dwayne Harris with the Cowboys.
Nico Thorpe with the Raiders and AJ buye with the Houston Texans.
All those guys are current, Brandon lines in the CFL Patrick pass, a sure Allen Ricky Sutton and John mcmakin, all played in the National Football.
League out of this Tucker, Tigers program, Elijah Sullivan nearly.
Broke one, he was close to snapping it off right there.
Torian Bell made the touchdown, saving tackle.
So just, when you think that, oh, wow, they've lost Duke.
Shelly.
They've lost a weapon Delvin.
Weems went to the sideline with a cramp.
Did you bring a Elijah Sullivan in there to run the ball?
And he's got fresh legs.
Got a lot of juice going right now.
Nice Cuts though, coming back, good change of pace, you know, but I feel like I feel really bad for the for.
Preston Williams, you know, in looking at what's going on, but both of these top -notch players man, you just it's the playoffs are coming up.
I mean, that's really the big point for their team.
Shelly's.
Got a boot get right in he put on that ankle back with you guys in Peters with the direct snap carry man.
Rolling around down there for Lovejoy.
And a lot of guys getting shaken up here.
That was the first Carry of the night M. And now we got a Lovejoy player down on the field.
You said earlier is Halloween about trick or treats and it's been a nightmarish night on the injury from rights, big old torian bail, and he's grabbing his left knee.
Yeah, it's going to be a devastating night for both Tucker and Lovejoy from an injury standpoint with the playoffs coming up right around the corner.
Let Me Tell You, Folks, there in Region 2, which means the way the playoffs are structured by the GHSA.
They're going to be playing the teams from region 1 and that's and you're talking about Lee County or lounge in the, in the first round of the playoffs.
Those are our top 10 ranked teams as we take a look at torian Bell.
L. And here he is.
I see his ankle in and look good, looks like it could affect his knee.
You just pray.
The hope is just an ankle injury or twisted his ankle or something like that.
Same way with Duke, but you hate when you see that anything involved with the knee.
I had a knee injury and there's nothing nothing worse than it.
Nothing worse than need.
But they're still working on Tori and Bell right there.
I was saying a moment ago, as far as the playoffs coming up.
The number one team in Region 2 will play the number four team from region one, right now.
That's either lounge or Tift County.
That's no picnic.
And then the region to number two team, which would be the loser.
This game Lovejoy would host, either Lee County or Valdosta again.
No picnic.
No, it's not.
And that's why you want to be at full strength and then looks like right now, none of these teams.
Either none of these two teams are going to be at full strength when the playoffs start.
So, both these coaches there, you see Edgar Carson in the right, and Brian Lamar on the left, got to be concerned about what's unfolding here in the second half as their star players, Duke Shelley and Preston Williams both appear to have suffered rather significant leg injuries.
And now Lovejoy has lost their starting defensive tackle, torian Bell, who has to be helped to the bench with a leg injury.
So third down and four is the game is kind of Taken on a sidebar note because of all of these injuries and Rigby gets dropped at the 48 -yard line, Randy Robinson in on that tackle.
Well, let's look at this from a strategic standpoint right now.
If you're Lovejoy, you're in a good situation.
You're getting the ball back.
You got time, you gotta, you know, you gotta at least get a touchdown and extra point and you're gonna have to get a two-point conversion and the touchdown have an opportunity, but you got a chance.
You go down here and score.
We got you got a ball game still, plenty of time left, 10 minutes, Joshua band standing at his 38 to kick snap goes back and it's good heavy Rush.
They might have got a piece of it.
I think they did but it still takes a Tucker.
Bounce, nonetheless and rolls dead at about the 32 yard line.
So they got a heavy Rush on Van right there.
I think they got a piece of it, but he had enough mustard on it, to get it down field for a 26, yard.
Kick.
And so, Lovejoy goes back on offense.
Nice, pressure to snap a little high.
The ball goes, right.
It tips is mean right off his fingertips.
Right off his fingertips.
I've been watching it all night.
Matt expecting somebody block one.
Both teams have had kind of a slow snap and had some challenges there have been several times.
We've seen players slow down a little bit and even Bracy was the guy who got his fingertips on that ball.
And that's Aaron Miller on the carry and has pretty much been the case all night.
Not a whole lot of running room right there.
Tackle was made by Brian Stroger.
His third of the night.
Tucker, defense is so.
Ask me sideline to sideline.
That's why you're not seeing Kentavious nearly.
They're not really trying to run the quarterback to the outside because they haven't had any success.
This defense is built and that's what Tucker always has.
Had is built for Speed.
How about those two sophomore linebackers that Tucker has?
We showed you my cello Bond earlier a six-foot 225 and then you bring in brine strozier who 612 45 and he's just a slow Rogers goes down.
Short gain on the pass if a gain at all.
Khalil Rogers making the cash.
You lose your big deep threat?
When Preston Williams the number four right wide receiver in the entire nation, goes to the bench and out of the game with a leg injury and that's tough to recover from, but they have to, they're going to want to win this game and win this region and have home-field Advantage.
They're gonna have to figure out a way to make plays.
Now we see here, we go to three receivers.
To the field.
Here.
They come with the pressure.
Third down and long, heavy pressure Neely steps up to avoid, it will try to get to the outside and tightrope, the sidelines runs down at for a first down.
Heads up, play by quintarius.
Neely to pick up the first down if I can see it from up here.
I know.
Quintarius is like, okay.
I'm going to try to split this into, take off and run down field.
Nice instincts.
Good job, getting down field.
He member there and man coverage.
So what's happening is defensive backs have their backs turned to the office.
Blind.
They have their backs turned so they couldn't see.
So, any time you break a team that has man-to-man.
It's always good for the quarterback.
The d-line.
You cannot lose contain.
When you're playing man-to- man coverage.
See if Lovejoy can put together a drive here and get back in this game.
As we're close to eight minutes to play looking for the tight end.
Nice, go up and get it catch by Brandon Knight.
Just the six catch of the season for Brandon Knight.
It goes for 16 yards and gets Lovejoy across Midfield like out.
Brandon Knight protects the ball Shields up and shields other Defender.
Kind of like an NBA player.
Boxing out.
The guy who's trying to get the rebound.
That's kind of what that was like, the job going and making a play on the ball and shielding the defender from getting it.
That was exactly what it was like boxing out and getting the rebound.
I'm his jump very well too.
So First and Ten from the 48.
Heavy rush.
They set up.
The screen Miller.
Oh man, got socked in the jaw by Elijah Sullivan.
Makes you six tackles a night, Sullivan hits you, you know, he doesn't get me.
You didn't get any glance shots.
He gets full body blows, man.
What a chess match is going on right now from an offensive defensive standpoint that time.
Brian Lamar head coach.
Andy coordinator, they went four wide receivers.
Did Lovejoy.
With that time?
He played a Zone and that Was the right call at the right time on that screen.
Second down and 11.
Neely.
The intended target was Josh Barnard.
He was not open and you see Akeem.
Peters telling him.
You were not open.
No, not at all.
Maybe a little smack talk out there, huh.
Highly competitive.
Right now.
Highly competitive.
Third down and 11 ball at the 49.
Got expect pressure here though.
Tereus Kentavious.
Nearly, you gotta expect pressure.
You got to expect pressure.
Everybody out all 11, guys on that offense, for Lovejoy, has to expect pressure.
Some confusion on the field by the offensive Lovejoy.
Neely a six of 11 for 82 yards here in the second half.
They pick up the pressure.
They go up top or Rogers and there is going to be a holding call on the corner.
John Brooks, John Brooks, who checked into the Ballgame.
After Duke Shelly went down with an injury.
Gets flagged on the play.
Good job by Brooks getting off the press.
Cornerback was up in his face.
Good job getting off of them.
He had no other choice but to hold them and I was going to be another fade pass because they don't have enough time.
We'd said to expect the blitz.
That's what happened.
So that's going to give Lovejoy a first down.
Holding defense, ten-yard penalty from the previous spot.
Replay, third down on me.
It will not because they needed 11 for the first down on the only get a 10-yard penalty, but they replayed the down.
So it's going to be third in one now.
There's the hole right there.
Yeah, he gets him right here.
Gets to hold.
That was a grab, that wasn't even a hole.
That was a grab, those almost a bear hug.
It was almost too.
But you know what though?
You'll live to fight dbe's.
If you're beat, I'd rather him grab him.
If I'm a defensive coordinator, let him score.
Touchdown third.
And one is better than six on the board.
There you go.
It is third.
And one now from the 39.
And it's now going to be third and six because the left tackle jumped actually was not the left tackle.
I think it was the tight end yet.
Parkway be is Leonard.
Yeah.
Linner 38.
Everything's going through that young man's mind right now.
Like just got in the game this time to get ready to block somebody and to too excited and jumped.
Yeah, but it happens, it learn from it again, but it's two down.
Territory.
Got two plays in the book to get your six yards and you're in business.
Neely?
That is a completion.
Is it to Dillard?
Yep, they rule he catches it right above the ground at the 40.
So now it's going to be fourth down in one.
What is he did he catch this ball?
Well, there he goes, down to get it.
No, only for Dillard.
They don't have Replay in Georgia, high school football because he did not have the officials really missed that.
That was but, you know, they're down there on the field up here in the booth that looked like, he'd caught the ball on the replay was obvious that he did.
Yeah, Mark dad's fourth down about a yard and a half here.
Little bit more than one for the first down.
And Lovejoy is not been able to run the ball very well.
Let's see if they can place in power football right here, and a timeout called by Lovejoy, first stopping the clock, and we'll take a timeout as well, as Lovejoy faces, a fourth down, and a little bit more than one when we get back.
Families are curious things, sort of the ultimate love-hate relationship and yet, when a crisis happens, families, tend to be there for each other unconditionally, in fighting disease or injury.
That's critically important.
So, rather than keeping families in Waiting rooms.
We bring them together in the patient's room.
They help us understand the patient.
The fact is, if one member of a family, has a serious illness or injury, the whole family does.

Rocking out with 613 to go regulation, 21-6 once figure out what's going on in Region 8 right now.
In the biggest news, comes from the middle Archer wins, 9:36 over Dacula to bring Dacula, back to the pack, the Tigers DeForest for secondhand turnovers.
So to Cuba's perfect record is no longer, perfect, Dacula, 6, and 18 and one Archer.
Now also 6, in-1 and Grayson was Brookwood it was 28 nothing.
So you've got Grayson.
It 71 probably by the end of the night.
Dacula and Archer at 6 and 1.
So this one's back in the blender guys.
Absolutely.
It is an Archer is a team.
We saw the first week of the Season here on GPB.
And at that time they were really hit hard by injuries.
They've gotten all their guys back and they are starting to play like it too.
On the fourth down.
Run Lovejoy does not get the first down as Aaron Miller, can't even get back to the line of scrimmage to Mark odor.
Came up from his Pony position and road right over him.
Did he come up?
He came up and lowered the boom on excellent job.
I mean, he's running.
He's running.
Oh man.
Nice job coming up, but I'm going to tell you.
You can back on his fourth and to play you'll look the penetration from the inside.
Knocks off the pullers.
Who was that down?
There?
Is that is Elijah Sullivan hiding first.
No, that's Maurice Williams.
Maurice.
Williams, doesn't an awesome job of penetration.
I did the entire deal on did a good job.
Big.
Big stop there.
Sullivan stays in the Ballgame, and gets the handoff man.
Sullivan is a hard man to get on the ground and he picks up close to a first down.
Got about nine yards on the carry.
We have not seen Delvin Weems.
Go back in the ball game.
You'll remember Weems.
We've got 147 yards, rushing in this ballgame, went to the bench with a cramp in that third quarter.
And he has not come back in either.
And of course, Duke Shelly is on the bench with a Now weems's back in the Ballgame as I speak and he gets the handoff carry for Williams in a while and wings gets two yards and a first down, Captain little quick hungry guards now.
Hey, they're pulling hair moving over there at Tucker.
I mean that they're getting after it look and take a look at that offensive line.
Now, you've got your college size, tackles and King, and Crawford, Crawford's 305 and Kings to 75.
And then you got your guards that are 185 Phillips is 185 and Actually is 190.
He can pull though.
I'm telling you.
I've been watching Avery Phillips number 58.
He is pulling.
He is moving.
You got doc.
Seemingly cocci coming off the ball.
It's offensive line.
That's how coach describe them.
They are aggressive, and they fear no one 11-yard pickup right there for Weems.
And you see Williams.
These guys are going to move.
He's gonna pull here.
He's gonna these guys are going to go here.
We was going to go to the outside, guys.
They're coming using speed and quickness.
Watch this.
Yep.
Broadwater on the carry that time Wings is now up to 150, one on the game and Tucker going for The Knockout Punch, right here.
If they haven't finished them off yet.
That's what they're trying to do.
Right here and Tucker is Just 4 minutes and 38 seconds away from winning the Region, 2 6, a championship, ending lovejoy's run a four consecutive region championships and snappy.
Five year, 36 game region, winning streak.
It's a long time.
Long time, long time.
So, Rigby taking his time as they milk the clock here.
We use slip trying to make a cut that time to take a look at the region.
26a standings.
You see the winner of this ball games foreign-owned with just one game left in the regular season, you know, even if Tucker as they appear to win tonight would be for know, even if they lose next week.
They would win a tiebreaker with Lovejoy unlikely that Tucker would lose next week as they will close out the regular season against a Lakeside team.
That's only three and I bought the season.
The other battle, is for the three, and four spots, between three teams that are tied at 1 & 2.
Those teams will have to go on the road and play at Colquitt County and or Valdosta.
Good luck with that third down, big hole Broadwater and brought water into the end zone for the touchdown.
Nick, Broadwater rumbles 37 yards, the score and bada-bing bada-boom.
There's your knockout punch.
It's 5:33.
Those quick guards again, coming downhill move.
It just getting bodies on bodies.
And one of the things we talked about before the game one of the keys for this Tucker office is going to be what those little offensive lineman little but they're tough going to get some big 307 pound middle, three.
Lovejoy Z worked out bobbled snap and Shakir misses the p80 Bible snap, maybe set off the timing a little bit but Nick Broadwater, as we take a look at our tcsg touchdown replay, that's one tackle and that's two, that's three, four.
Good night.

Broke not one, not two, not three, but four tackles on the way to his End Zone on the 37-yard touchdown run that put the nail in the coffin here.
Tonight.
And Nick does a good job and Nick started the year off a little slow was injured.
Came back, strong, and it's good to see the young man get rewarded for his efforts.
Broadwater recording, his sixth touchdown run of the season.
Strong running back, very strong and Tucker is going to run their winning streak to seven this season.
After dropping their opener to two-time state champion Norcross in double overtime.
And then losing to defending national champion, Booker T. Washington, out of Miami, Tucker is now reeled off seven consecutive wins, and they'll be region Champs again in a new region.
This year that's route on the return and Malik group keeping his balance.
Scrambles for words of the 36 yard line.
As we check out the Tucker Tigers, next level.
This is just a sampling of the players playing college ball right now.
James borders at Stanford are in F Louisville, Justin Garrett at Auburn.
Jacob ceiling the linebacker advancing.
Look at the Georgia connection.
Josh Dawson, Dominick Sanders Dietrich Bing Dukes to Juan Williams has waited, Oregon and Elijah Shaw, great story injured, his neck, his senior year.
Your could play football, Alabama, honored his scholarship.
He's there as a student but going on scholarship.
Great job by Nick Saban there.
Right lovejoy's, Next Level Rico McWilliams and South Carolina to Marcus gates at Ole Miss, Travis custis, started out at Georgia Tech.
Now, Community College, as is the tight end, a Jackson started at Ole Miss.
He says he's going back to Oxford when he's done with his Junior College Alejandro, Benefield, the quarterback or backup quarterback, Chattanooga.
Lenore would adapt State, a lot of talent coming out of these two schools.
A lot of guys getting ready, getting a chance to play college football again.
Education on top of that, Aaron Miller on the screen pass and Miller down the sideline and Dives for the pylon and he is out of Bounds at the half-yard line, 44 yard catch and run by Aaron Miller.
Now then Drew got another injury.
Yeah, we do.
Oh my goodness.
Coaches need to end the game before anybody else gets hurt.
It's by Garrett Rigby.
see, that is Lower limb, another lower limb injury.
When he falls these Terry Beckham there.
I want her back.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah.
It's foot goes into the ground.
Wow.
So Beckham is now hurt.
So you got Beckham.
Who's injured there?
Looking at his right?
Ankle Duke.
Shelly has already gone to the bench and out of the ball game.
They've got his right ankle in a boot.
That would mean, they're two starting quarterbacks have injured their ankles here tonight.
Not being insensitive to to the injury, but when you look at them, look at it from a team standpoint, it's huge.
Yes to you.
Let's check in with Jon Nelson while they continue to work on Terry Beckham.
All right, we talked about one playing to and the post season, seven plays eight.
Let's take a look at Region.
7.
Biggest surprise is Mill Creek shutting out, Norcross, 32 nothing tonight, North Gwinnett.
No problems with Meadowcreek 5:45 Peachtree, Ridge a winner as well.
So Mill, Creek halfway there to having North Gwinnett.
Be the region champ helping out the Bulldogs.
So milk.
Goes to 5 and one Ridge 25 and one North Gwinnett, 25.
And one Norcross.
Now having to fight uphill that for into in the region 6 and 3 overall, more scores in the post game show coming up in just a bit and that means Norcross, if they finish as the 4C might have to play in a team, like the que le is the first round.
He's a two-time defending state champions, and you got to go on the road and play.
Either at Dacula or possibly Grayson in the first round of the playoffs.
It's a lot of depth out there.
And, you know, I mean, just think of what we just saw earlier.
Yeah, Mill Creek.
Now, you know?
And John said that was a surprise.
I don't know after watching no Creek last week.
Well, I don't know if it's a surprise to me.
I just think just because they've won Norcross has won the last couple of national.
I mean two state championships.
Yeah, but when you look at how many players they've lost and you know, coach Maloof, they continue to reload.
They got a young team and the, you know, it looking at looking, at it from the other standpoint Mill Creek.
There are seasoned veteran team.
That's LED but not making excuses for him, but that's why he played.
Games, but I'm sure North Gwinnett is pretty excited now, but we're gonna finish out, so Beckham helped to the sideline and the ball is out at the goal line, I think.
I thought the ball was out.
They reacted, we got hit the ball was out, but it looks like Lovejoy got it back inside the 1.
There are some Heavy Hitters to pull this Tucker team.
Gonna get a headache.
That's Chauncey Jackson.
Did the ball ever come out?
Can't tell.
They acted, like the reaction among the players was that it was out.
I don't know that there ever was up over the top, and that's a touchdown for Chauncey Jackson scores.
His second touchdown of the night to make it.
Able to 12.
Big push.
Good job by the Lovejoy offensive line big push knocking Tucker off.
The ball goes over the top touchdown, want to finish strong, keep working night.
Maybe kick on, get what you gotta kick them onside kick here and get a couple of onside kicks recovered score.
Some touchdowns you right back in the game.
Just that simple.
I mean, internal Optimist.
I've been down 56, you to know that other Miss P 8.
Right there and I'm always thinking we could come back.
So Jose Perez has had a p80 blocked and now he's missed one.
And with 221 to play.
It is 11:33.

Great information.
Also in your blog, of course, that great of music.
You hear in the background is Walking Dead, which they don't film too far from here.
Really?
They filmed my Walking Dead in.
Fayette in Coweta County and of course, we're down in that General vicinity down here in South Lake.
Haven't seen that yet and it was very popular.
But more than one kind of the sports.
My wife is only about being on this porch.

Kevin Barnes, our statistician, not quite Walking Dead here tonight, but it is walking.
Wounded Knight was good.
When they met, Kevin gets the credit for that one.
It's good.
We're like a child, Kevin.
Bunch of injuries.
Let's see if they try the onside kick and they do and it is covered by Tucker.
There at the 47 yard line, Garrett, Rigby the quarterback playing the front line on the kickoff, coverage, on the hand skeet hand Stitch.
So, Rigby does just about everything.
They might want to just take it easy here.
No one else did.
Rigby's had himself a pretty good night.
Threw a touchdown pass on the very first snap of the game to Tyler tune.
He's managed to gain.
Well, yeah, sand that is, you know, typically that's what you want.
You're the Tucker Tigers quarterback to do.
You've got so many weapons around you.
You don't usually have to win the game at the Tucker quarterback.
You just need to keep it in the road.
That was Broadwater on the carry that time.
He went for 37 yards and a touchdown.
Down the last time he touched the ball.
No, such luck this time as the rain starts to fall.
Again.
Just about the time.
We have to go to our car.
Chuck.
Oh, yeah, perfect, timing.
Perfect.
I'm starting to come down, good or bad, depending upon your perspective.
Well, coach Lamar's got them rolling right now.
Feeling pretty good.
172.
Yep, for knowing the region, gonna read in another region Championship here.
Tonight, be a number one seed in the playoffs.
They'll be hosting the number four team out of region 1 in the first round of the playoffs to Friday Nights from now, and that could be a team like Lounge.
Can you imagine louns and Tucker in the first round of the state playoffs?
It's not gonna be easy, no matter who they play, anybody that reaches good.
I mean, they're going to come and play.
That sounds like a GPB game of the week to me Lounge at Tucker.
No doubt.
I know that.
Comes.
Who plays both sides of the ball offense and defense, man, ever, wonder how snow monkeys survive in the cold?
Well, every morning when I get up, curious about how rickety old biplanes back in World War, 1 evolved into deadly machines, dare to guess the real story.
Bar work.
It all Mikell Perry.
Sloth to Corner injuries.
And man, the where did this wind come from?
I told you this is almost apocalyptic.
How many just out of nowhere?
We got a crazy wind blowing people running good that are trash, blowing everywhere and leaves.
Good luck to Mark Harmon and Claire Simms.
The postgame show tonight.
Fellas temperature seemed like it just dropped 50 degrees.
Meantime, a Calipari, being helped off the field.
So we've seen Perry helped off the field Tori and Bell got helped off the field.
So in addition, of course, to Preston Williams, so to lineman.
Two lineman for Lovejoy have been helped off the field Preston Williams their star wide receiver.
Only the number for rind wide receiver in the country.
Had to be helped off the field Duke Shelly.
What would Todrick Malone offensive coordinator here?
Tucker calls?
37.
Rigby.
Inside the 30-yard line and he picks up the first down.
And because of this, when we understand that, it's creating some technical difficulties for you watching at home.
So, 27 yard pickup by Rigby.
At this point, I think the teams are just trying to survive and not get anybody else heard First and Ten ball at the 29, still waiting for him to take that me.
Chuck, get in that Victory formation.
That's right.
Well, they're counting down now, so just want to live to fight again, but I understand also you want to get to some guys at then we can try to get more playing time and because of the weather conditions, we're going to get right off the air.
The end of this ballgame because the And is wreaking havoc with our satellite dish in our satellite signal.
so, it's a So first and 15 and now Tucker finally does go to the victory formation and congratulations to the Tucker Tigers.
They are the region 268 Champions.
They snap lovejoy's string of four consecutive region championships.
They hand Lovejoy their first region loss in over five years.
Snapping a 36 game region winning streak for the Wildcats and Tucker made it to the state finals.
They have now won seven.
Straight.
Georgia Dome here in the first six.
A well, does a sweet recipe?
They have when you can stop the run and run the ball, that's a recipe for success.
That's going to do it Tucker.
A 11:33 victory over Lovejoy and the Tigers of the region to chams remains to be seen just how devastating a night.
This was for both teams.
As they both suffered what appeared to be some rather significant injuries to their star players, Steve.
Our women at 11:33.
Now for Chuck Smith John Nelson Grace Olson, Mark Harmon, Claire Simms in the entire GPB team.
I'm Matt Stewart.
Goodnight from Hampton, Georgia, and congratulations to the Tucker Tigers, the region to 6A champs.
