A pedestrian tunnel in Thornton is painted with brilliant colors; stopping graffiti.
Our partners at the City of Thornton take us to a pedestrian underpass transformed by a colorful mural. The city hoped to discourage 'taggers' and reached out to the artist community for ideas. Painter, Joe Ziegler won the bid and worked with dozens of volunteers to create a mural in just a few days. The neighbors love it, and there have been no recent reports regarding graffiti.
