I was working on music by myself and you know, there weren't anybody else to hang out with and make music with, so I built a studio with my dad and I gets to Georgia and started recording songs on my own and kind of like teaching myself how to play guitar better teaching myself how to record through like YouTube videos, and yeah, I just like, I wrote like a whole album's worth of music that I didn't release, but it got me towards, like, you know, the period where I was gonna start a band and then I moved back to Atlanta, Georgia, post-pandemic, when, you know, things were opening up again and shows are happening.
And I found Gus, who I had played music with previously when were like younger, like 10 years ago.
Our bands would play together and we were supposed to be in a band together but it never happened, and this was kind of like a fulfilling a, -(Leela laughing) -promise or like a destiny or whatever, you know?
-Like with, -Manifesting destiny.
-Yes.
-Yes.
It was like manifesting destiny.
Planted a seed.
I was like, I, you know I owe it to him and I owe it to me.
