Learn Moreabout PBS online sponsorshipWe are having an upcycled fashion workshop, which is a part of the “Live Well Northern Wisconsin ” project.
This event is focused on taking fabric or clothes and turning them into something else.
So it's intended to just completely inspire creativity and just get people together to just come up with something creative and fun that people can wear.
Everything here is donated either by myself or there's local businesses that have donated.
We have fabric paints, we have paint brushes.
We have a whole bin of buttons.
We have got fabric and glue and material and t shirts and jeans and scissors, basically everything somebody would need to turn clothes or fabric into something else.
20 years ago I used to sew.
So I do have a sewing machine that I pulled out of my closet.
But I also love “Project Runway ”, so I'm just inspired to recycle things, reuse things, and create just fun things for people to wear.
The “Live Well Northern Wisconsin ” project is really about just creating opportunities for people to get together.
