McConnell fell and suffered a concussion at a Washington, D.C. hotel on March eight.
He was in a D.C. hospital until March 13th when he left for a rehab facility.
Senator John Cornyn of Texas said he spoke to McConnell today on the phone and that he's doing better and eager to get back to work.
Senator Mitch McConnell is 81 years old.
