To save their lives, they escape their war-ravaged homelands and become refugees. Joseph Nahas, his wife and five children are refugees from Sierra Leone. Now they are Utahns. As director of Refugee Services in Utah, it is Gerald Brown's job to help Joseph and the other refugees who arrive here.
